I loved last year's Australian Survivor. New Zealand Survivor looks like it will be as good. I've only seen one episode, but it was great. I really like watching players from a different culture play survivor.

Winner gets 100k lol... that kinda sucks

I sometimes consider how much time I spend in front of the TV during NFL season and that similarly depresses me.

Also - isn't the 100k in New Zealand dollars? So ~68k USD pre-tax

their water bottles look like they are just plastic water bottles like you buy at any gas station, but then dressed up with bamboo casing around it

Survivor NZ so far is LOL Tony, the ads for the next episode are hilarious. Too many people talking about playing with honour and integrity so far which is what I expected for the first season. Amazing the so called superfan Dee did everything a superfan wouldn't do at the beginning

dee is just not very smart im afraid. she said part of her preparation for survivor was holding her arm up for as long as she possibly could.

she also said she listens to 40 hours of survivor podcasts a week

Having redemption island is such a ****** buzzkill. It's so unnecessary.

Serious lack of character development so far. I suppose I should be rooting for Georgia, since she's from my neck of the woods. I suspect it's going to have to be the females carrying this show because the guys are so middle of the road.

That Mogoton tribe talking about it being a 'family' reminded me of Coach's tribe from SP quite a bit, pray circles as well, though it looked liked at least a few of them were just doing it to not upset Shay and Sala.

Nate has the cop reads on people but doesn't have Tony's fun side or Sarah's humility to make it work for him. instead he just looks like he's on duty when he's watching the young people hang out together.

Bad move by Shay to vote for Lou. They had enough votes to force a tie and possibly sway someone over. What's the point of voting for Lou when Tom was gunning for you anyways? Now she lost her ally and will be next on the chopping block. Pretty awful spot to be in.

Good ep last night. Swap has breathed life into the show. Georgia paid the price for not having a relationship with Barb and Nate. Tony getting super mad at Shay and Shay not giving two **** was funny.

Season's gotten better IMO. The last week with no hour and a half with no IC or tribal was a lot more interesting. Kinda surprised that Shannon went given her edit. Starting to root for Tommy to ship the season now.
