The last 20 minutes was some of the most entertaining Survivor for me in a long time. Loved the editing when the convo with Andrea/Eddie ended and the music started playing during Andrea's confessional.

That move at the end by Malcom was f'ing awesome. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? IS THIS NOT WHY WE ARE HERE?

It's hard to say. It could be that Andrea is calling the shots and got scared, it could be that Andrea correctly convinced her allies that she soul-read (boner-read?????) Eddie, it could be that they just decided to play it super safe, or it could be a combination of everything. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but knowing what we know now, it seems possible that Andrea told Phillip to try to bluff that they were blindsiding Malcolm so he would burn an idol, whether that be Reynold's or the one they have to think Malcolm himself might have.

These guys are never going to trust Malcolm now. Will think he was in on everything the whole time. Trying to burn Reynold's idol.

He can try for Erik and Brenda now, but Sherri drew a line in the sand and said she wanted to be voted out 5th...not looking good.

So, does tonight prove Malcolm is overrated?

Pure epic. I can only compare it to the unreal 6th bet bluff Ivey pulled in Monte Carlo tourney while heads up.

But if they vote Malcolm does Philip make that speech about flushing traitors out or was his speech part of the plan to make Malcolm feel more paranoid. I don't give Philip that much credit but its possible they got Philip to make that speech.

I can't tell if I'm just a biased Andrea fan, but it sure seems to me like Andrea and Malcolm got into a multi-layered leveling war where Andrea got some beneficial information from a level-zero dimwit. Yes, Malcolm out-leveled Andrea yet got screwed over by Eddie, but I think you have to give both players a ton of credit for even getting into the leveling war in the first place because they both played it tremendously. It's so rare to see two players continue to level each other like that, but damn, it's enjoyable.

KOS: You def seem to have your andrea blindsiders on from the edit we saw. She is merely someone who panicked based off eddies info and knew that michael was a safe vote. She wasnt trying to get in malcolms head she was just assuming nobody would ever expect let alone give michael an idol.

She seems like a competent player but is also somone driven by emotion and not rationality when things get crazy. Hence cochran saying hes disspointed she was so easily swayed from the plan that seemed most logical

Only if she was anticipating that Phillip would totally blow their whole plan up at FTC...which...yeah, I mean I've been saying that all along. mf will screw up your game if you let him (so why align with him). But the plan should have worked as put forth as long as Phillip doesn't give it away...which happened in the future from when Andrea 'read' that she was going to get bounced by idol play and switched the vote.

I think Malcolm can turn it around - he still has the opportunity to blindside once due to nobody knowing he has an idol (and hopefully he keeps it that way) and then he wins one immunity and all of a sudden things are more even and gives him time to work another angle.

If Dawn goes crazy next episode and leaves then it opens the door even more.

Philip, Andrea, Dawn, Cochran, Brenda, Sherrie

Malcolm, Eddie, Erik, Reynold

Anyone think someone from the alliance of six would actually flip?

I think you're leveling yourself, Kos. Andrea got scared.

Outstanding episode, hopefully this is the season turning around.

Andrea was scared of going to jury and Michael wasn't getting the idol. I don't think that she was thinking deeper than that but I guess its possible.
