Reynold was probably the biggest loser so far in this season.
He is the next Ozzy when it comes to challenges, he seems to have an A+ social game, has great confessionals and he keeps finding hidden immunity idols Russell Hantz style. In every other season he would be the number 1 story by far. But this season he gets overshadowed by Phillip and Brandon.

I hate anybody that only hangs out w/ 3 other ppl, makes it clear they have an alliance, etc. when if you just play a somewhat normal social game ur alliance is unlikely to get targeted at that point.

Brandon seemed to want to come out this season to show he's not a pussy after getting played so bad last season. He basically said as much throughout the episode. He'd be kind of an LOL this guys crazy cast member but the fact that he is only on the show cuz hes a hantz is so dumb (because hes not strategic at all). I'd much rather see a random with an hour of Russell coaching them before the season if you want to cash in on Russell still.

Brandon is just nuts, and he's so nuts he couldn't take advantage of the biggest mistake of all: Phillip wanted to throw the challenge. A normal person takes that and runs with it, talking about tribe unity and blah blah.

Then again, this is the guy who voted off a chick because he wanted to sex her so bad he couldn't think of anything else.

Once you are on the outside looking in I actually love telling people about the idol. You want everyone on the edge of their seat and thinking about alternative strategies. It's kind of like what Abi tried to pull off without having the idol: "You guys better be careful, I have the idol"

Sure, you can just split the votes, but even if it only works 1 out of 10 times (because somebody freaks) it's worth it. You need to work every angle if you are in the minority, and the idol is one of it.

I was hoping that Brandon was going to quit after the tribe said they were forfeiting the challenge but before the impromptu tribal council. Unless Survivor changed the rules on the spot, the Favorites would have had to go to tribal council still, and someone else would have had to go.

fwiw when Russell was evac'ed on Samoa they skipped Tribal Council.
