In. I'll be rooting for Andrea and Malcolm the hardest, but I like a lot of the Favorites.

Hope has potential

Favorites tribe has an interesting dynamic where the women are better players than the men, but at the same time, some of the men who aren't good players (Cochran, Philip, Erik(!)) are still cagey.

Seems likely that some combo of Andrea/Brenda/Malcolm will control the game.

First thoughts based just on pictures and write-up above. I'm rooting for beard guy, Malcolm, Cochrane, Philip and Dawn. I expect race car driver girl to be exposed as a fraud and Corinne will be boring and/or annoying (not in a good way).

I'm very interested to see how Eddie plays, he had some high expectations set for himself. There seem to be quite a few interesting characters this season, and quite a bit of eye candy. I can't wait.

Based on his picture alone he is my current "Fan" favorite. He just has to be great, right?

Brandon's insane and Cochran's worthless as a player. Should be interesting!

Did they really struggle for favourites this season? I like Andrea but have no clue why she's back, indifferent to Dawn and have no clue why she's back, can see the potential Francesca has vs Phillip, but other than that I'm at a loss.

My general feeling is that All-Star/FvF formats will always be filled with blindsides, dick-waving contests, fancy play syndrome, and a lack of correct adjustments by the players. Because of that, here's my very early opinion on how the Favorites will do...

Andrea: Quite good. I think she's a potential winner because she's seen as a very middle-of-the-road player, and people forget that she's a fan of the game. Women tend to do well in these types of seasons, too.
Brenda: Out early. She's going to be seen as too much of a gamer.
Corrine: Out early. She's too bitchy and won't fit in with these women.
Dawn: Decent. She should make the merge, but she's too big of an obvious endgame threat to win. I could see her making F5, though.
Francquescqka: No clue. I'm guessing her chances aren't good because she seemed bitchy and easily irritated the first time around, but I think she's friends with Andrea IRL, and that can't be overlooked.
Brandon Hantz: Toss-up. He will either go super far or get clipped immediately. He's a total wild card who is completely dependent on alliances. I could easily see him out first or ending up at FTC (and losing). As a fan of the TV show, I hope the latter is true.
Cochran: Quite good. I think he's a potential winner because he's likable and super non-threatening. People will forget that he's a smart superfan capable of being a backseat driver who knifes you near the end.
Malcolm: Toss-up. I think this is finally the returning player season where people clip the unknown dude early, so I say he's out before the merge. If this group doesn't have that bias, though, he should easily make the merge, but he'll be a huge target for a blindside around F9/F7.
Ice Cream Scooper Erik: Decent. I think he's non-threatening enough to go very deep, and people will overrate his naive idol gift as a sign that he's still overly gullible. I don't love his chances to win, but I could see him making a deep run.
The Specialist: Not good. He'll compete with Corrine to be the first boot.

Why so sure he'd lose? Despite how it may have seemed from the edit, several contestants after his season said he would have easily won at FTC.

Even if that is true - and I tend to be a bit skeptical when every late boot is confirmed to have been some monster jury threat - I just don't see it being true this time in a returning player format where we're likely going to see much more aggressive gameplay. Yes, passive players can still win All-Star seasons depending on their FTC opponents (hello, Sandra), but I just don't see Brandon being the type to convince a jury to vote for him.

Rooting for Eric and how his character arc will vary from his initial time being on.(Will he still be the optimist he was before? I have no idea and this is something I'm excited for.) Also in for the Brandon lulz which should be frequent.

I think this is pretty spot on, should make for great TV.

Not a great group of favorites, especially when compared to the previous group of favs. Rooting for Cochran, Malcolm and Brenda(GODDAM).

I think Cochran could do well, but he is a likely early boot due to his lack of physical strength and reputation for disloyalty.

Brenda will also likely have a difficult time navigating the early game.

Malcolm will be fine, the favorites will need his physical strength if their planning on avoiding a numbers deficit at the merge.

The real wildcard this season is Brandon Hantz. I would love if he took a heal turn this season and really caused some chaos.

Can't wait to see the favorites tribe playing out. My guess would be that the girls will overrun the guys. Brandon, Cochran and the Icecream Scooper should be easily manipulable.

Oh...and when I get married I would like my wife to have a body like Sherri when she is in her 40s. So hilarious that she works in fast food haha.

Disagree on Cochran and Brandon. Cochran because I think he's actually a thinking player, and Brandon because I think he's too ****ing crazy for anyone to control that well. Strongly agree on Sherri though, very impressive body. And wow at Hope.

Some pretty weak players on the favorites. Brandon/Phillip/Francesca make quite the (not at all) formidable trio.

And who is going to be the one saying: "Brenda is a real gamer, we must get rid of her!"? Erik? Francesca? Philip? Dawn? Brandon?

I think it's way more likely the few gamers (Brenda, Malcolm, Cochran, Andrea) will stick together, they know they need eachother (at least until the merge) and not loose cannons that will do random ****. Except maybe Cochran, if he ****s up too hard in challenges.

As a fan of the TV show, I hope the former is true. I wanna see survivor-related stuff, not people whining about God.

This dude is not gonna let himself get voted out early. He's a great player, I don't see why you wouldn't give him more credit for making stuff happen. Half the tribe are ******s, I'd be shocked if he was out pre-merge.

I really can't remember being this excited for a season to get going, as I have no idea how pretty much anyone but Phillip might play their second time. Really happy to see so many talking about playing to win in their pre-game interviews, though we'll see if that actually ends up being the case.

Worth noting the heavy NY/NJ casting this time around, I think, especially given that three of the favs are known Wine and Cheesers.
