I don't think Yul, Danni, or Aras are automatic nos.
Tina leaving little enough of an impression is a negative, though. I think Tina returned in part because she was a female/female pair, and those were hard to find.
From a TV POV, CBS obviously wants an all-winners season to happen, but they're more concerned with actually having good characters than they are about maintaining the "purity of the theme" or whatever. If they tried to do an all-winners season for S29 but only came up with 10-12 good names, do you really think they would do it anyway vs. doing a "Winners vs. _____" theme they felt gave them a stronger overall cast? It's not like it would keep them from doing an all-winners season in a few years anyway.
With Danni and Yul, an all-winners season is probably the only way they're getting invited back anyway. Aras told us he was totally done, though I guess I could see him coming back in this (and only this) format. Still, I don't get why CBS wouldn't just wait another 5-6 seasons, particularly with the ratings being good now. They can play the all-winners card when Survivor starts taking a pre-HvV-esque nosedive again.

Link to Danni's interview? I'd be interested to read anything from her, as I assumed the opposite. Yul strikes me as the type who says he would play again but wouldn't be able to actually find the time to do it. Isn't he doing political work now? Some jobs might make it tough to leave for 6 weeks (a la Corinne passing on HvV).

I completely disagree with this. It's more true for recruits, but I would say that most applicants are more interested in playing (and having a million-dollar freeroll) than actually being on TV. I certainly don't think people like Michael Snow or Spencer Duhm gave two ****s about being on TV; they just wanted to play.

I don't understand this line of thinking. I get not wanting every season to have returnees, and I agree with that, but it's also no coincidence that arguably the two most popular seasons ever (16 and 20) were packed with and run by returnees.
