Just watched Andrea's Miss Survivor interview. My God she just makes my heart melt. So adorable

She's mad cute, but that rap was cringeworthy.

Yes, I acknowledge what you are saying. Ozzy seemed unbeatable in challenges that yr, altho there was at least one case where it was obvious that Yul was lollygagging but the final ICs in those days favored women or Ozzy body types anyway. Thx for acknowledging that the case is not non-zero. From all accounts, everyone in the Aitu 4 felt closest to Yul so Yul did his homework there but Ozzy's ego kinda moves it into the realm of probability to my mind.

Dom & Colin Hatch interview was really good. Obvious reasons for disliking it would be if you're a huge Russell fan or are religious.

The "winner deserved it" arguments have gone on forever, but it's hard to argue with Hatch when he says that he knew in advance that he was going to have to vote these people out, and do it in such a way that they would still be willing to hand him a million bucks.

He said that he would like to think he would have taken Kelly, but laments that he likely would have let real world "morality" or whatever (misplaced or not) take precedent there. He knows what the correct decision would have been, but he is human and admits it. We can't all be completely unemotional robots when on an island under brutal conditions and immense pressure for 39 days.

^The point is that, if Hatch was as good as he says he is, he WOULD be an unemotional robot. That's the tilting part.

Podcast was good but I was tilted by him saying over and over he couldn't care less about anybody and then saying how he loved talking to Greg and Gretchen and one or two others.

I don't believe him on the tax thing either.

I have no trouble understanding how he could enjoy talking with certain people but ultimately not care about them.

His tax story is just absurd. Having been on a TV game show where I won money, I can tell you, the producers' lawyers talk to you extensively before you go on, and after you're through, you meet with their accountants for details on payouts. If any sort of agreement like he claimed occurred, there would be a paper trail.
