It would have been fun to see how long any of that group could last without a tent.

I think it was actually good value for 30k.

That tent saved every singleone of the campers. They would have all quit in a night or two

They could've got a tarp, but ya for the ease may as well spend the extra 10k or whatever for the tent

Would be good to see a full list of items on the list and costs

Weren't Macody and the other kid in their alliance without a tent for like 10+ days?

Ya and the night makani stole the tent and the other 4 still had the tent fly, Cody was basically dry in his setup and the other 4 were soaking wet in their ridiculous fly setup

tent is a must buy more or less

I really think a tent should cost like 100k to make it such that they can't get both a tent and ANYTHING else at the first buy. I'd be fine if there was only a bigger option if they wanted to do it that way and thus more people would have access every night.

Maybe the prices should rise each buy session for added drama

I think temptations should be 50k per person and the person being tempted gets to decide for each of them. ie. It's Makani's temptation. She brings Cody. Then she decides if she wants to spent 50k for herself and another 50k for Cody. Would be real lolz for Cody to choose to bring Alex just to look at it and then get the 50k for himself and say see ya later Alex.

Alternatively, temptations should only be removed from your own end game cut.

Alternatively, there should be no temptations.

the temptations were a flop. definitely get rid of them

temptations are a source of balance, but they don't cost nearly enough. If 4 people make it to the end then you're only spending ~$600 for the small temptation and ~$1800 for the big one when all is said and done (breaking out your post-tax share). This makes it a pretty easy decision to take them imo.

I think they were hoping that the main group would choose to ostracize anyone who took the temptation. "Oh, you spent $15,000 of the group's money on yourself? Enjoy not sleeping in the tent or eating any of our food for four days!" But once the group fractured, it became an easy choice to always take it. Especially given how much of a bargain it was compared to the Group Buy prices.

I like the idea of increasing the price of the temptations as the game goes on.

Predictions for tonight's likely final episode?

Prediction: The 2 campers take up half the episode complaining about how hungry, thirsty and sick they are while telling each other they aren't sure they can make it a couple more days. Everyone makes it.

I'm not sure why they wouldnt. But I severely need to see a reunion. And it needs to not be hosted by Nessa.

Do they do reunions for AYTO?

Cody eating breakfast in front of Alex is classic.

However, if maCody doesn't sandbag the last challenge forcing everyone to stay on the island for another day he has failed.

Show is very promising but needs a lot of work.

1) should be an additional week if you don't make it to the final spot
2) If one person (or more) person doesn't make the journey in time the 100k is forfeited. The people who do make it can then vote that person off or vote to keep him or her. This takes some power away from just being useless.
3) No more tents, just tarps. More communal, more conflict.

Very disappointed in maCody for not sandbagging the challenge to force the two barely hanging on to last another day.

completely worthless episode. temptation was decent but once they stayed there was obviously no way they were building a huge ass fire to flare out with just a day left. no drama at all for a finale

agree the concept has legs but needs some work
