Yah, it's a word that we hear often, but don't see spelled much. The English pronunciation is also different from how it's actually pronounced, so I'll give Mr. Thrive a pass.

I usually hear it pronounced whore-dervs.

what? the second time they showed everything short of an underneath close up of it coming out the hole. like he was squatting in the water, stuff dropped, and then there was floating poop on the screen

wait, so did Gina fall off the cliff? That was the finale?

Finale was the biggest letdown ever.

The Gina thing was teased as something happening going down the cliff, but in reality it was nothing. And of course they somehow made it to their destination in the dying seconds for the 10th time in a row!!

I kinda think it was obvious everyone was sticking around after camp 7 or 8, and the Cody ****ting in water stuff was just him goofing around/manufacturing some "drama" otherwise episodes 8 and 9 would have been as boring as 10. I mean, if you go through that BS for 35 days out of 40, you'd basically have to be forced out of the game due to an illness at that point.

getting to every point with mere seconds to spare each time is by far the fakest part of the show

IIRC, they only actually showed a countdown for one of the destinations, so I'm guessing that was the only time it was actually close.

I was hoping that just once they'd be 5 seconds late, and see the producers removing the cash.

and they all make it on time, except alex is 5 seconds late.

seems like it's so easy to make a successful reality show. cast good looking people, too young to know how to behave. give one group some power over the others, then flip it and give the other group power. then sit back and watch the hypocrisy

Stranded should add a power of veto.
If you win the challenge, you can overrule the group's decision to buy something. or buy something for yourself

What, is it MTV's version of survivor or something?

It's like survivor, without all the strategy. And with more whiny millenials.

whiny, delusional, hypocritical millennials

Yeah if anyone has seen shows like the real world before they would know that they'd never put an Adam Klein like person on this show. Even the few smart people MTV cast are emotionally damaged so they make good drama.

I thought the show got pretty repetitive TBH. Definitely need to change a few things if they have another season.

I still can't believe Gina didn't take the 150K, I snap call so fast.

I don't think Gina was allowed to unless the guy whose temptation was allowed her to. The little game they played was essentially meaningless and probably just a way for him to decide what to do.

If she said take and he said stay, he probably says eff it and leaves with the money. The only play she had was to say stay and hope it incentives him to stay as well.

*bump*

Currently watching episode 7. All episodes are available on MTV.com. First 3 are free and the other 7 are available if you have a cable package with MTV included.

Alonzo was really getting on my nerves. He is the insecure type who thinks he is the best at everything when in reality he isn't and has nothing to back up his pointless arguments. So he just yells louder and starts to get aggressive when you call him out on his BS. Such a weak person.

It is almost a freeroll because if Alex/Gina say **** you and don't complete the journey in time, they haven't lost any money.

Tempting Fortune sounds similar

Quote:
12 strangers spend 19 days in paradise. Arriving with basic survival gear the group will think they have what it takes to become heroes of the latest reality adventure show. But in order to win the substantial cash prize they will have to resist the temptation to spend any of it, in the ultimate test of willpower.

Already frustrated watching it.

Prize pool of 300k they split at the end. 12 people. If anyone doesn't make it, they take 25k out of the pot. They don't seem to realize their take home stays the same if someone drops out and they are all keen on helping each other.

Obviously you should try to get everyone out, and make it to the end and collect your 25k.

The more dummies you have with you on the journey, they are obviously going to take temptations and dilute the prize pool.

The prize pool is also super weak and boring.
