It's not real money but the fakes represent the total they have. And I can't see how transporting ripped bills would help since they won't be able to use them anyways.

it seems close to me based on how much they gave back and the money has checked out overall imo

a million dollar bills weighs about a ton. it says they've been carrying about 50 pounds of money on the most recent journeys which is 22K individual bills. they appear to have mostly 10s and 20s, so if its an even split that much weight would result in around $300-400K which is where they are at total wise.

Not giving them hundreds is definitely the biggest troll of the whole show

I actually wonder how well made the fake bills are. Money is extremely durable for paper, with wet strength and water resistance. If it was just regular paper that would be a massive massive pain in the ass if they get wet.

Good person ranking/who I'm most likely to be friends w/ if I hung out with them a few times: Cody, Makani, Alex, Alonso, Eilish, & gina.

I'm not convinced Cody is as bad of a guy as the show makes him out to be - I think he is one of the only ones treating this like a game and a way to make a lot of money.

Makani is attractive and seems fun and nice (until she is bullied by the campers and unites w/ Hero).

Alex is a little too sure of himself and seems kinda dorky, but outside of the show he seems like he'd be okay.

Alonzo seems cocky too but he cries too much (and quits). How are you going to threaten to beat someone up on a TV show where there is this kind of money on the line so you both know you can't fight. He also tried to act like he was so loyal by passing on a temptation, but then when it comes down to it he had the choice to flair like a punk or fight cody like he said he would (so both get kicked off - helping your team) and he flared.

Eilish & Gina both seem like boring and annoying people to hang out with, but Gina barely edges out Eilish to take home the crown of worst of the last 6.

I'd rank Gina ahead of Eleish. Possibly even ahead of Alex and Alonzo. She's extremely useless but she isn't as terrible a person.

i am with everyone else HATING alex on the show, but i get the feeling he is probably a decent guy off the show. this show just ended up bringing out the worst in him. and it made for great tv. if it wasn't for alex and his band of idiots, the show would be way worse. half the fun is just watching how deluded and stupid they are.

cody is an ass. he too makes great tv! but he is an ass. he is not a hero. and if he does try to poison the other team next episode, that is inexcusable

Cody was actually the most sympathetic to Gina not being able to swim. Alex was doing nothing to help her and Makani was completely fine with her drowning while Cody was basically like "I want her to go home, but not actually die."

and i'm not sure how much gina can or cant swim. some people say they can't swim, and just mean they aren't good swimmers. but either way it's terrifying to be in the ocean like that, and i give gina some credit for doing it. i know people who can swim, but are still scared to be in the ocean.

Kind of OK with them making up rules as they went along as it's kind of hard to really envision what the hell this game show is all about from first principles. Hopefully subsequent seasons will be more well defined.
