Like it a lot, not sure I love it yet though. I was scared the last episode was about to go all Entourage, Joshua Tree episode with Eric Roberts. Glad it didn't turn out that way.
And his immediate "OH ****!" reaction to it was amazing. Very very true to a shroom trip, where you get taken off guard by profound discoveries that are of course in reality just mundane nonsense.
I did lol at the incorporated in Delaware bit, only because it's like the first thing the professor told us in class. "If you have to blindly pick a state to be incorporated in, pick Delaware. It's generally most business friendly."
im sure its intentional and i realize that the main character is normally a straight man with funnier friends, but Richard is far and away the weakest link of the show
I like this show, but as parody/commentary on a cultural touchstone(i.e. DC or Silicon Valley), Veep is far better executed on all levels. As someone else stated above, Veep's parody of Valley/start-up/tech culture last night was far superior to anything delivered by Silicon Valley so far.
lol at veep being better than this show. i've never seen veep, but it doesn't matter how incredibly fantastic a show is, it's going to suck if it has that woman in it... whatever her name is. she would and does ruin everything

I legit chuckled out loud several times during the episode:
- When they carried Peter Gregory in on that throne
- When he said "Thank You Florida"
- When Richard barfed on Erlich right at the end
Still liking the series for sure.
It's interesting to me how Mike Judge's work has almost slowed down/mellowed a little bit though. If you look at B&B, Office Space, and Idiocracy he had a certain pace and deeper bite to the satire that in both Extract and Silicon Valley has been replaced almost by a softer, more endearing tone.
I think I still prefer the older Mike Judge stuff.
