The bit where they first see the logo for Pied Piper made me crack up.

The immigrant stuff was def hilarious, I liked the way the Peter Gregory thing came together though. It started off cringeworthy but that made the payoff even better (although lol at something like cicadas decimating crops not being priced into markets).

All of them saying their names over and over and then the asian guy chiming in was hilarious. I only started watching this show because I heard they used a Green Day song in the first ep. Really glad I stumbled upon it. Really digging it so far.

Much funnier episode 3. I really liked the Peter Gregory thing, and the commercial for Nucleus was hilarious.

Also liked the liquor store guy ruining his life for his notepad app. You gotta think there's a ****-ton of dudes running around in Silicon Valley with similarly ridiculous ideas who end up working in liquor stores.

Where is still doesn't work for me is in their interactions with "normal" people. I thought the part with the irrigation guy was an example of this - as was the stripper part in episode 2.

About everything you said was the opposite of my feeling appart from the liquor store guy

The problem with peter gregory for me is that i dont believe the character at all and every scene is painfull to watch.

I think their interactions with normal people is the best part of the show. When he was talking to the irrigation guy and the guy spit out chew and the main guy tried to immediately spit just like him, I was cracking up. Also all of them yelling their names at him was great (also awesome was the tall guy from the office first saying Jared! Jared! No, Tim! Tim! Or whatever his name is). Thought it was a great episode overall.

The Peter Gregory thing was so ****ing obvious what was gonna happen. Wasn't a huge fan of this ep. And the main characters mannerisms are getting old.

I mostly like Peter Gregory. I heard that he's based off of Peter Thiel. I'm not terribly familiar with Thiel, does anyone know if he's that crazy in real life?

Well yeah of course as soon as he walked into the room and said "I drove by a Burger King" I immediately made the connection from BK-sesame seeds-cicada hatching-Indonesian sesame futures.

trolling but yes, it was a bit predictable but also enjoyable and didn't take anything away from the episode imo.

Every episode has been a very good 30 minutes of television so far.

The show is full of big hits and big misses. It's still an enjoyable watch overall.

I also loved the name thing when the Pied Piper guy came over.

definitely don't get why a software engineer with a (presumably good) job at a massive valley company (some mashup of Apple and Google?) needs to live in that place, but w/e.

I think this show is pretty funny buy obviously pretty dumb. it's like The Walking Dead but no zombies.
