meh there was some funny stuff. the two roommates ****ting all over "bighead" was funny imo. i thought the resolution with him taking the job was pretty sad actually. i mean i dont think its absurd at all for him to take the job, but he seemed so indifferent about how it would affect Richard (especially after the speech he just made). pretty brutal for a "best friend".
good ep though for the reasons you said, it really sets the show up nicely and how it has staying power. it's just a world with so much depth, so many different angles they can cover. that+a cast that seems to have nice chemistry+mike judge means this show should be just fine.
