He's better than that. Still one of the few redeeming characters on the show. Has a good heart and genuinely wants to help others. Like when he still left the 10K for Xan, even though she chose to live with her junkie hookin mum.

I don't know much about commercial real estate but how on earth can it be legal to accept a 100K investment then demand 25k more or the person loses their 100K???

if that were legal just take an investment then keep demanding more money till the person goes busto and u get to keep it all?

obv I'm assuming it's just horrible writing and the writers hate fiona as much as we do, but that was particularly tilting.

The show is definitely losing steam

Did I miss the nursing home investment falling through? I thought suit guy covered the extra $25k when he bought the apartment but then she's spray painting "Old people suck" on the sign.

I think she owed it to the bank on her mortgage and Max bought her building for 100k less than its value so he kept it.

She had two mortgages totaling 290k which he payed her plus the extra 25k for their investment. As far as I know she broke even and still has money invested. I guess that was her being angry at him flipping the apartments which he pretty much told her he was going to do.

While I do not speak for AA, neither does this show. Nobody does. If anyone is curious about AA I would encourage them to read the book Alcoholics Anonymous, which is where the fellowship gets its name. In my opinion and experience, this show at best scratches the surface, at worst gets it pretty wrong when it comes to AA.

Just wanted to put that out there - no need for an AA derail. If anyone wants to discuss further please PM me.

I also thought there was plenty of AA bashing in the previous episode when everyone was criticizing Lip, so I think they’re showing multiple sides to it.

so Fiona didnt realize they're obligated to repay her 100k investment or that guy just felt bad for her and is gifting her 100k???

either way seems dumb
