Watch 'Derek' and 'life's too short'. I couldn't even finish the latter series. His work has gone downhill pretty fast. His stand up has always been terrible too. And i like a lot of his scripted stuff.

Never heard of Regan but he was solid. Gervais was the worst of the three imo.

Yeah. One of those bits which in a live show you can just keep dragging on and dragging on if the audience is liking it. They know where you're going, but keep laughing harder and harder the more absurd things you come up with.

Alec Baldwin is a funny guy. He's a blowhard, but the man has comedic chops. this show is so good, I'd probably donate money to filthy rich Jerry Seinfeld to have this turned into a weekly one hour podcast.

You can tell Baldwin has plenty of that genuinely asßhole-ish smugness that actors have, the way he interacts with the garage attendant and waitress were telling of that.

He's charming and engaging enough that I generally like him, though, and his "Five Easy Pieces" save was brilliant.

Joel Hodgson episode just came out. Not a great one, but in the second-to-last "Spare Parts" they get flagged down in the middle of the street by a guy on a bike, which was somewhat entertaining.

The upcoming episode is in a bowling alley, and features Bob Einstein from Curb Your Enthusiasm who's hilarious pretty much no matter what he's saying.
