Vaughn cheating on Sydney, can't believe it. He has good taste, though.

I understood very few words there, but that still reminded me that their kiss was hilaribad.

i wish they'd have some more flashbacks with his friend in prison. i loved those scenes.

i'm a little foggy on exactly what happened in prior seasons too, but i like it that way! i think it adds to the show.

i love how daniel has some darkness in him. it makes me root for him that much more.... not that i like the darkness or root for it. but i can identify with trying to overcome darkness of my own.

amantha really should give a daniel a break for confessing to the murder. i mean come on, the guy doesn't want to go back to prison, and he doesn't want to have deal with all that drama. hasn't the poor guy been through enough?

I was feeling the same way but then I realized she had been working non stop for all those years and it's devastating to her to have her brother admit to it, esp when she knows it's not true.

add to that the fact it's a small town and all that entails wrt how ppl view their family n u can understand her anger.

but most of all I think she's just angry that she fought so hard n he seemingly is just giving up and letting the ppl she was fighting against "win".

not so easy to just let it go.

all good points rbk, but even with all that the right thing to do is support daniel. obviously people don't always do the right thing. i was just saying she *should* give him a break

the actress is doing a fine job, but i wish they would have cast someone else. i think she is so hot that it takes away from the show. i've gotten more used to it, but at first her hotness was really jarring. it didn't fit

ya I def agree and think we're supposed to feel that way, but bitches be crazy yo.

and ya she's smoking.

speaking of which tawnie has certainly plumped up this season.

rbk's point is right on about why she's so upset (in a lot of ways that's a common thread with the show The Missing...it's what she knows, it was her life).

fv, Abigail Spencer is killing that part, I don't see why you'd want someone else. That family didn't produce any ugly kids, and I don't find her distracting in the part at all. I actually think she looks kind of used up in the part...lol. She's a hard living 32 or whatever she is.

I don't think she knows that. I think she thought she knew that, but his second confession is also hurtful because it puts some doubt in her mind for the first time.

I think she 10000% thinks he didn't do it.

edit: that was worded poorly.
she thinks there is 0 chance he did it.

I knew I recognized that guy. He looked better with lighter hair imo. I guess he's a little older now too.

I like how they had him drop Otis Redding's name to show how cool he was, not one of these dumb Georgia crackers.

Yeah I thought maybe the actress was pregnant in real life and they would somehow work it into the storyline. But maybe she just ate too much between seasons. I'm still in love with Tawney though.

Looks like Daniel is losing his grip a little, with the paint thing at the last there. And the mother and Big Ted are on the outs. 2 more episodes for now.

Kind of not loving the direction of big Ted so far, especially as relates to Daniel, as it seems like a bit of a swerve from seasons 1 and 2. Sure - I suppose it could be explained as a reaction to continuing frustrations and the whole choking out Teddy thing, but to me it still seems like a bit of a swerve.

When you find out someone choked out your son, pulled down his pants and put coffee grinds between his cheeks, your opinion of this person is probably affected.

I keep going back to how stupid it was for Daniel to take that plea deal at the end of last year. That kinda seems like a plot contrivance at this point.

Also, I'm losing patience with all the emo Tawnie-Teddy action so far. Nothing has even happened! Well they kissed Thursday, that's something.

Maybe if all his other decisions since he got out had been well thought out and executed.

I really like the sheriff character and the actor who's playing him.

Remind me how many years you spent on death row? (I'm talking to you too, Amantha...)

it's really incredible how quietly powerful the show can be.
that final scene with the paint in the pool was just so good n sad.
really impressive.

this show is amazing. so many scenes where it's like nothing happens, but somehow it's still so moving. if it were done just slightly differently it would be incredibly bad/boring.

scene 1: woman visits man in hospital, gives him some water to drink through a straw because he had a stroke. he slobbers the water and she gets uncomfortable and leaves.

another scene: parole officer visitis daniel on her lunch hour and tells him to get his **** together or else

another scene: teddy and tawny go to couples therapy and talk about their feelings

another scene: daniel drops off his papers at the parole office

final scene: daniel spills paint

all those scenes were great, and really said something moving. it's almost confusing why these scenes are so good

The lawyer was against it, too. I guess it's plausible that he's that scared of going back to prison, but man, in poker parlance it seems pretty -ev.

It was sad, when he'd taken so much pride in it.

I think he just feels like he is still in prison with all this probation bull****. He took the plea deal because he was tired of dealing with the case altogether but ostensibly didnt realize the constraints that would be put on him after seemingly having not too many before.

Feels like he is finally ready to get a little more proactive with respect to taking his life back with the spilling of the paint.
