Yeah this most recent episode ("Until You're Blue") was the best ep. so far.

I know you're not supposed to like the character of Teddy Jr. but the actor is so phenomenal in that role... and I can't help but feel bad for him. He and his wife Tawny are as important to the show as Daniel and his immediate family. The actress who plays Tawny is fantastic also.

Hope this gets renewed.

wow! that was a GREAT ending!!! love the music with the shots of the trees and kids playing and all the story lines going on, and hardly any dialogue. really really well done.

and the debriefing scene, man..... sooo good!

This is a great show, rich and textured. I gave up on it months ago halfway through the first episode, but I was wrong. I thought it was leaning anti-southern then, but it's way better than that. It's great tv. Just finished chainwatching 5/6 of season 1 and looking forward to season 2.

1) how good is S2?

2) S1 is quite fuzzy, should I rewatch before watching S1 or is it not very necessary?

The 5th episode of season 1 was crazy and beautiful, my favorite episode so far. I'm 3 episodes into season 2 now, so far I agree I like season 1 slightly better.

Well, Ted did whale on that lowlife who wasn't paying for his rims. Love the puke right after too.

And yeah, the debriefing scene was amazing. Only thing I can find wrong with this show is that some people think it's slow. I think these are the mouth-breathers that grew up eating Skittles for breakfast though.

Love the show but if I had to nitpick I'd say the character of the younger brother is underwritten. He just shows up once an episode, asks what's going on, then leaves.

Not buying him walking into the girl's bedroom either.

Fantastic show overall though. Daniel and Teddy Jr. are amazingly good. And Tawny might be my dream girl, perfect mix of Carey Milligan and Michelle Williams.

i really had a hard time remembering certain things from season 1 going in tho

marathoned the second season in 2 nights. it's so well done

Just finished season 2 and thought it was excellent. Easily a top 5 show, at least for me. I don't watch or follow award shows, but Adelaide Clemens should be nominated for whatever best actress category she is eligible for.
