Based off the book of the same name? Pretty interesting book, not sure how well it will translate to a movie.

Saw Game Change last night. Well done. I never knew she was as controlling at the end as they showed. They sure painted her out to be so stupid which is accurate

Great show last night. This time they did a video on the streets of NY showing how lazy some Obama supporters are.

Haven't seen the movie, which I hear is Palin-centric. She's only the second half of the book. The first half is Hillary cruising to the nomination, but that young guy from Illinois just won't go away...

Yeah, it is 100% the second half. Does not cover the Dem primary at all and breezes by the part where McCain was struggling early on and went busto. Really doesn't start until they are deciding whom to bring on for VP.

The show is entertaining and bearable at times.

I like that clip too, cause I've always sorta liked Maher and hated his pathetic group-think audience (at least since he moved to HBO). If I were ever on the show I'd say nothing but "Bush sucks!"for an hour just to troll and get applauded. I remember when he had Paul on when Bush was in office - he got a hero's welcome like he was "1 of them". Probably the dumbest audience on the planet.

I love how the guy parroting the whole Obama is a communist thing celebrates not being brainwashed.

Did you see the episode where he had Paul on the first time? he thought he was crazy.

I'm liberal, but agreed with a poster earlier who said he knows nothing about the economy. His arrogance I find douchey at times too.

Overall, it's an entertaining political show. His closing monologue is my favorite part. Looking fwrd to hearing his Paul Ryan material.

Good return episode. Enjoyed the 3 panelists and the doc guy. Could do without Chelsea Handler, but she wasn't bad either.

I wish they cut down on the opening monologue though. Its always the weakest part of the show. More time to bring up another topic with the panel or go a little longer with new rules would be for the best imo. I think Bills really funny, but his monologue is basically what would happen if you had Leno on premium cable and made him do all political jokes.

Anyone who compares Maher's monolog to Leno's can GTFO! I regularly LOL at Maher's. I never watch Leno, but my brother does, and while staying at his place on a recent trip home, he fired up Leno and I watched the monolog with him. After every unfunny joke, not only did the audience howl after every one, they applauded each joke as well. I sat there, fuming. "WTF are they laughing at? Why are they applauding?" You could tell that my brother was just realizing for the first time that Leno isn't funny.

BTW, not long ago I caught a very old SNL rerun from the '80s on tv, and Leno did 6-7 minutes of standup, and it was hysterical. I watch his monolog now and wonder, "What happened to this guy?"

Agreed, Leno was good a long time ago. He's just a grinder now, I don't know why he keeps working when he seems so out of fuel. This has been going on for 10 years at least.

Maher should stop making 13 year old jokes of the kind 'special... like special olympics' especially since he had the Kennedy spawn who runs the special olympics on 1-2 yeas ago discussing... among other things... the tendency of people to make light of the special olympics

Because they keep paying him 8 figures a year to do it.
