Has there ever been a non-ridiculous poker scene in tv/movie history?

I'm about 10 pages into the pilot. It's the greatest thing ever.

I'm guessing that none of you know anything about "the backside" (the stable area at the racetrack that's closed to the public). So far, Milch has captured it perfectly, of course.

My expectations have been recalibrated back to 100/100.
