solid start

bump?

Last week I thought I was watching a soap opera. Yesterday was better.

I really enjoy watching this, but I'm sure it will get cancelled soon. It hasn't been given much love and I can understand why; the first 4/5 episodes of the first season were worse than terrible.

It's a slow burn so far into season 2, but the main three characters (IMO) are just so damn entertaining. Hoping for some Arseface next episode.

I've been losing interest. The main plot line seems like an afterthought in S2 and the show doesn't seem like it's going anywhere.

This episode was the most amusing of the series for me.

lame finale as f.

I just watched the season and series finale. I really enjoyed this season. I thought it was hilarious. However, the ending didn't do anything for me. meh. I wish it was more cohesive with the rest of the season. The end felt like a bunch of scenes just slapped together.

I’ll miss this show. Imagine trying to tell someone who doesn’t watch about what happened on the show.

Just making my way through the 4th season. I realised I must have missed some or all of the 3rd season. but couldn't be bothered going back.

Finally came back to this after dropping it once the first season was done. Marathoned the other three seasons and it's OK.

Was glad to see that they included some of the iconic scenes from the source material, albeit usually in different contexts.

Was not happy with what they did with the Cassidy character by turning him into such a good guy, that pretty much entirely misses the point of who he is. Removing his strength seemed unnecessary. Killing him off in the way they did was just straight up pandering.

No complaints about any of the actors, they all did a fine job. The Saint was especially wonderfully acted, as was Herr Starr. Jodie was probably the weakest performance, as well as a mis-cast.

Overall, they did a OK job converting the story to a series format. They certainly didn't ruin it as feared.

Forgot about this one. it started out good. Need to get back on it.
