April looked hot, it freaked me out.

Overall I liked this episode a lot more than the previous one.

I thought they came really close to going too far with Leslie here, but that it actually worked. Thought they pulled it off at the end really well.

The Ron/Tom and Chris/April stuff was really great.

moo buckets is one of the worst 3 posters in OOTV and I encourage everybody to ignore him.

Newsflash The Office was good in season 2 and 3. It sucks now.

I wanted to hate Parks and Rec and refused to watch it until season 3. Kinda glad I held off because it was awesome running through the old episodes. Go ahead and hate it but gtfo of this thread and go to to the office thread and talk about how much you love Jim and Pam and how funny Kevin is.

The only thing I liked about the Leslie story was the final press conference. Loved the Ron/Tom plot. I know this isn't Transformers, but that might be the worst fake punch in the history of tv/movies.

For some reason Ron's look of happiness when standing next to simple things that he loves gets me rolling every damn time.

Leslie stuff wasn't horrible, but it was kind of a bummer that the subplots were way funnier yet her main plot sucked up most of the episode's runtime. I did lol at Ben's sound effects though.

Both with this, and with Andy's nose thing, I just can't imagine those were the best takes they could get. Sorta weird for such a high quality show, and it bothers me just a hint. (in which we learn that Dids would probably be super hated by the cast and crew of his hypothetical TV show).

I think the very existence of Michael Scott, especially the craptacular way he was written in the later seasons, is doing this show no favors. Leslie's storyline basically does all the work the Office never did in terms of giving the character reasons to be crazy- and the other characters reasons to tolerate that crazy. I think it's all pretty well done, but it feels stale because the other show did it way worse first.

I do think they're in danger of going to that well too often, and the next few eps would be better served to dial down the Leslie crazy.

Ron only bowled a 155? Perhaps instead of attempting to bowl underhanded he should give in to adding some hook to his ball. Oh, and how did he only knock down 2 pins with his first throw of the 10th frame? When his strategy is to throw it down the middle with no hook, that is not even possible.

As a former league (2 TIME CHAMPS) bowler, Ron disgust at Tom rang true and was super awesome. While it served the joke, I confess that my inner nit bowler feels like Ron really does know you have to throw with a hook to be a decent bowler at all. I don't see Ron Swanson as a man who would tolerate a style of bowling that's basically a lock to leave you with a ****load of unmakeable splits and a sub 150 average.

Some more bowling nittery but it's definitely possible to leave two pins on the first shot if he misses left/right enough.

Question. Are there any other candidates other than Knope and Newport? I'm assuming there are but we haven't me them yet otherwise Leslie being dumped by her original campaign team doesn't make any sense. She would have been running uncontested.

I feel like the writers wouldn't have missed something this significant so the obvious answer is that I spaced. Who are the other candidates?

I enjoyed that episode. It seems like if they stick to two stories in an episode, they're usually good, if they go to three, they all feel rushed.

Not sure why but I thought April looked very good tonight.
