From a pure psychological aspect, I enjoyed the island. Wes imploding and Kenny beating Wes alliance-wise in FM2 was quality. I need to re-watch earlier stuff to fully remember

I just finished The Island and didn't really like it. I need to re-watch a bunch of these, too. I've forgotten a lot of details. FM2 is up after the season I'm watching now.

i watched the finals of a few the other week. i need to go back and watch the whole season(s).

think i watched FM, FM 2 and Gauntlet III to laugh at easy.

i think the duel is one of the better seasons. inferno II was great. i like the inferno too.

i like most of the seasons tho. BOTS sucked and i still enjoyed it.

The island was by far the worst format that the Challenge has had.

Duel and Duel 2 are my favorite seasons

and that is why I said from a psychological aspect

I've been watching since BOTS 1 and I gotta go with a CT-centric list...

1. Gauntlet 3....Vets dominating, CT with like 5 GOAT moments (anyone remember him talking about the stars and planets aligning when talking about "trimming the fat"?)

2. Inferno 2.....Miz, Landon, Darrell, CT, Abe, Derrick...just a stacked guy cast.

3. Rivals....This is the best of the recent ones I think, wasn't a huge fan
of Exes because there just wasn't much drama as far as teams went. Rivals had good drama though, few good eliminations and then a legit final (even if that stupid overnight thing erased a 45 minute lead that Wes/Kenny had)

4. Duel 1...Some good eliminations, obviously CT getting screwed drops this on the list.

5. FreshMeat2...I dunno why but I liked how this had real strategy to it and there was a clearly defined line in the sand from the start. Some of the other challenges you know who is going to make it to the end from the start but Wes having the whole house at the beginning was crazy...

Between cast/trailer for this upcoming one, I think it could be the best ever. Not many weak guy teams at all, doesn't seem to be any clear cut alliances that will dominate so should be a more fluid game in terms of strategy...We'll see. I remember thinking this before and it really didn't materialize..

Duel 3 has to be next season

There's nothing I would like to see more than CT beating the **** out of Wes.

wes has shown a ton of WIL recently. it will basically be a matter of CT carrying them thru eliminations but i cant see those two winning a final challenge. ct was sucking wind in the exes final while wes was lol in rivals. johnny/frank meanwhile are definitely favorites if they make it to the end

I think CT has enough of a tank to win a final challenge, he just paced himself horribly in Iceland. Wes is also a pretty smart dude they probably won't get bogged down by puzzles.

Do we know if CT stopped smoking? That would help a lot.

Well, since the Ruins, he's been in a situation where he's screwed over too many people in the past and it finally bit him in the ass. The Ruins he alienated all of his team mates, Rivals he had Kenny to at least help keep things at bay politically, Battle of the Exes Vinny wanted to get back at him, and BOTS 2 CJ wanted to get back at him. I don't know if it's WIL or more karma biting him in the ass.

Johnny has won 4 of the last 5 challenges he has been on and Frank is 1 for 1 so I agree with you but I think we gotta put those finals into perspective...

Wes and Kenny had a 45 minute lead that the show turned into a 2 minute lead on Rivals. As much as Wes did suck at that, they were up 45 minutes so for him to get that type of lead I do think he is capable in finals.

In CTs case he gassed at the end of the final in Exes but Bananas was smart to be behind him so he could walk in CTs footsteps through the snow. Walking through the snow took a ton of CTs energy, that was brilliant of Bananas to do that.

I think both are capable of finishing a final, it is not like either of these guys are Tyrie, Ty, etc....

Wes has also run terribly in the being teamed with girls department. Mandi 2x, that Austin chick and having to go vs BigEasy..

He said on his MTV video he doesn't workout anymore so he is way smaller (obviously if he isn't working out that means he doesn't roid anymore either) but I think his stamina will be better this time around.

After watching the 9 minute preview on mtv.com, it is pathetic how much I am looking forward to this season.....

CT telling frank he isn't his enemy, saying as long as his bitches love him and hooking up with some girl in 9 mins...
