New York, NY - March 30, 2012 – On the heels of an incredibly successful season of “The Challenge,” MTV announced today that it has picked up a 23rd season of its hit competition reality series. “The Challenge: Battle of the Exes” pitted pairs of former lovers against each other, forcing them to endure added emotional pressure, get past their issues, and work together in pursuit of the ultimate prize. This past season is the most-watched “Challenge” in seven seasons, averaging nearly two million viewers each week. In addition, MTV announced an unprecedented 28th season of its groundbreaking reality franchise, “The Real World.” The two most recent editions of MTV’s flagship series delivered the franchise’s best season average (“The Real World: Las Vegas”) and highest-rated debut (“The Real World: San Diego”) in five seasons. MTV is currently shooting the 27thseason, “The Real World: St. Thomas,” which will premiere later this year.

i wanna see a challenge with Landon, Alton, Mark, Derrick, Darrell, CT, Johnny, Kenny, Wes, Evan, Tyler

With the format being that of where winner picks a friend and friend picks another friend until last man standing picks who they want to compete against. That would get messing real quick

i didnt like the concept this time around nor the teams too much tbh....

time for mtv to bring bck the heavyweights & have more physical challenges plz!!

Well, we found out there was another couple having sex all the time without them showing any indication of it. Might have made us better understand why Camila was going crazy and throwing chairs to know they were doing it every day.

The Miz was absurd too. His facial expressions and the finger motions he was doing as they zoomed in just before commercials were ridiculous.

it was one of the worst hours of tv ive watched. i thought the rivals reunion was good and generally enjoy watching them, but miz basically just asked a bunch of directed questions with under five word answers. only 12 people (11 of whom talked) seems smaller than normal too.

"so how your relationship with xxx now"
"its ok"
"are you friends?"
"yeah i guess so"
"alright cool, moving on"
