Premiered at Comic Con. Will start Sept 26. Cost $4+ million per episode. Entire season already in the can. Was supposed to start in May but was delayed due to slow production. Will this be another Lost or another Flash Forward?

Premiere tonight

Been looking forward to this for a long time......but I was also looking forward to the other big Spielberg project. And that crapper of a show has now toned down my expectations for this one. Praying this isn't just basically Falling Skies with dinosaurs instead of aliens. Also hoping that if it's good, the ratings stay high enough to justify the costs.

Taking all of that into consideration, it's really hard to be optimistic about this show. Hope I'm wrong.

gonna check it out. not trying any other new shows this fall so I hope this one is good

Maybe it was because I tempered my expectations, but I really liked it. Although a lot of the writing, mostly in the 1st hour, was fairly predictable, there was some good, especially near the end. And the dinosaur scenes were pretty awesome and much better than I'd ever expect from TV production. I guess I liked it just enough to ensure that it gets canceled after 1 season.

i was looking forward to this for months and I'm disappointed. Maybe if they got rid of the 3 kids (or Josh at the very least) they could salvage something here.

Interested in how it fairs ratings wise vs. Monday Night Football, whatever dancing show is on, and the CBS comedy block.

Glimmer of hope with the writings on the rock and the leader's son being involved, but I'm not really looking for a show mostly about fighting dinosaurs. I guess I'm just looking for Lost 2.0. Not especially optimistic.

Only had his on in the bacground while being a complete failure at NHL12.. but about 20 minutes in t he 1st scene I happened to pay attention to was them landing on the planet and I'm sorry, but 20 minutes into a new series is WAAY too early to play the slow motion action scene card. Especially since that entire device is designed to draw u closer to the characters involved, but 20 minutes in , people don't even who the **** they are watching.

Terra Nova I am disappoint

This really feels like an NBC show. I'll give it a few weeks but so far I really don't care about the answers to any of the questions they've asked.

I think it was well done overall, but the plot seems kinda dumb so far. Jurassic park with some kind of freedom fighters? Dunno.
Oh btw, Jurassic park children were better, I hope his son gets eaten alive by a t-rex

I liked it. When I first heard about this show I had high hopes and expectations but I kind of let them go as time went on, and tonight's premier didn't disappoint me. There are so many directions and storylines they can explore throughout the series it should be good. Plus, they are adding a little mystery with those symbols on the rocks.

Agree with this. It could, of course, go horribly wrong - but I thought they handled the plot, reveal of the intrigue, characters pretty well. It has potential.

For the first time of any show ever this got an audible groan out of me...

Mayhem in the jungle, wifey says, "A pretty girl and a chance to break the rules, you'd have done the same"..."You should know, you were that girl." Ugh.

But was ok though, I guess. Tried to put too much into the premiere maybe, imo.

This happens with a lot of new shows, I think. They really want to get some storyline out there, but it ends up being a bit forced and too fast paced at the start. I still liked it, but I think for a 2 hour pilot it could have been done a little better.

I think someone said earlier in the thread how they had been in their home time-line for only like 15 minutes before going through the portal. I would have liked to know more about that time before they left, or have had a better understanding of why exactly they were going. Assuming we will learn more about both of those soon though.
