Technically it's going to be the second part of the 7th season I think

That's just AMC propaganda. They take a year between airing episodes, that's a season

Don Draper Secretarial Power Rankings:

Dawn (went above and beyond during Don's leave, just DUNKING on pinhead Lou)

Meredith (she is Don's strength imo)

Allison (only mistake was not kicking Don in the nuts when he suckered her back to his pad)

Peggy (Relied too much on advice from JOANGOAT for my liking)

Megan (Very Serious, Indeed)

Blankenship ((It's a she))

Jane (Draper's a tough desk, honey)

LOLOIS (I know one Brit who sure wishes her lawnmower was of the flying variety)

based 100% on ability, not their looks YOU PIGS

Thoughts on the final episodes? I still don't know what to make of them. Going to rewatch before commenting.

I've started rewatching this again. It's enjoyable but I guess I have gotten older or something because Don Draper just seems like an incredible loser this time around.

Here's a random question - what ever happened to syndication of 1 hour prestige dramas? I realize that with streaming and the like there's not much of a lure as there once was, and the Sopranos on A&E was a disaster, but to me Mad Men seems like a really good show to put into syndication. Yet other than AMC running a few during the early mornings about a year ago I've never seen these pop up anywhere.

Is syndication of the one hour officially dead in today's day and age, other than L&O?

everything is on netflix/on demand, etc. now so there is likely no use for it.

One-hour dramas with season-long storylines seem like a bad choice for syndication, since many people will forget the context surrounding the episode, even with the "previously on Mad Men" clips. Sitcoms seem like the best bet for syndication.

Occasionally I've seen "Don centered blocks" or "Peggy centered blocks" of episodes (on basic cable) that can mostly stand on their own, and I think that's been a good hook.
