I'm enjoying it, but it feels like Hawley is just being as weird as he can to see how much he can get away with. There doesn't seem to be an underlying purpose to it.

The purpose is entertainment.

First, I said I was enjoying it. However, Hawley is capable of much more. In S1 the weirdness was a perfect compliment to the mental illness themes. In Fargo he used plots and directing choices that underlined and reinforced the philosophical world of the Coens.

In Legion S2 he's just being weird for the sake of being weird. There's not much else there.

Well that episode wasn't tedious and pretentious. Thought Ep1 of S2 was great, but steadily downhill since. Very disappointing.

Still having very mixed feelings about this show. Every week I'm amazed at the ballsy bravura, but it's self-indulgent and serves to hide how thin and dumb the plot is.

All that aside, Aubrey Plaza is god damn amazing in every scene she's in.

I enjoyed s1 well enough and I have every episode of s2 saved on my DVR, but for whatever reason I just can't motivate myself to get interested in this show again.

I liked the odd episodes in the beginning but now they have become off putting. It seems the last 3-4 episodes have been pointless.

I get that the beginning and middle of s2 were pretty weird, but I thought the last 3-4 episodes and especially the finale were great. can’t wait for s3

S3 E1 wow , fantastic, nothing else is remotely like this on tv or movies now. Colors, music, sound quality, Stones, "..you're a 1,000 light years from home",

It still is weird to me that David is the bad guy and Farouk is a good guy, I'm waiting for it to switch any minute and it was just a joke. Other than that S3Ep1 was awesome.
