Yep, the JS threads have definitely been going downhill. I remember for the Miami season you'd have about 15 posters giving updated power rankings after every episode. Have overall ratings gone way downhill for season 4 and 5 or is it steal wildly popular?

Clearly show began moving downhill when Mike started turning weird and the Pauly/Mike combo turned into Pauly/Vin (boring). The last episode was also awful and staged. So Vinny is so adamant about getting himself fixed that he packs up all his stuff and heads home. Then one day while Paulie's bored, he convinces the rest of the house to drive all the way to Staten Island to bring Vinny back. So they show up, barge in his house, and Vinny just nonchalantly goes along with it. Oh and then shows them a random tattoo that he got during the week while he was at home trying to work on his anxiety issues? Seems more likely something else going on behind the scenes and they are just trying to fit it into the storyline, while failing miserably.

Wasnt Vinnie filming 90210 when this season was being shot. And Vinnie has a book out about anxiety, so looks to me like it was all planned around his publicity tour.

I have a pretty bad anxiety problem myself and know exactly what Vinny means when he's describing it. I don't get the hate for Vinny, I guess the people hating have never had anxiety but he's clearly having a rough time with it.

It could be staged but knowing how I feel when I have anxiety it convinced me.

Vinny is earning ~$500k just from MTV for 6 weeks of partying. He should be able to suck it up. If not, why the F audition for a reality TV show?

Well I know it's tough to control anxiety, didnt Zack Grienke who makes millions pitching sit out a year due to anxiety, so it can mess you up regardless of your financial situation. I just hope he doesn't use it to profit off of and instead uses this as a platform to raise awareness.

what are the anxiety issues that would be too much to bear for the money he's making on here? i'm pretty curious. also, if it's something that he's had his whole life and has had to deal with, why not at least get paid while dealing with it? Maybe I'm not understanding how the anxiety works. Below:

My point was sometimes we can't relate to these people and the money they make, and just assume they should suck it up cause they have $$. I can't see any reasons for him to make it up, but again you never know.

Man I suffer anxiety problems from time to time and it's not something you can just control. There are highly addictive meds to treat it which are very dangerous and have worse withdrawals than heroin. You can use them short term for maybe 4-5 weeks though.. but they'll numb you and definitely make you too boring for television. Since they go drinking you don't wanna mix benzodiazipines with alcohol either. Also anti anxiety meds kill your sex drive completely.

There's no mental reason it's just my brain chemistry is whack. I didn't have traumatic experiences or performance anxiety. Sometimes it just comes then comes a bit of depression and then you pull yourself together. Some have it more severe some less than others. If you haven't experienced it or seen it in people around you, then you can't make judgements.

Probably the least enjoyable JS episode ever for me and next week doesn't look much better with the Roger/JWoww crap and more fake Sitch/Jionni/Snooki drama.

Anyone else catch Snooki and Jwoww on WWHL (Bravo Show).... I can't believe they let Snooki say some of that stuff on live telivision. Jwoww and Snooki explained why its not possible Snooki cheated, really interesting answer!
