Expecting good things from this season, hopefully we get more Unit/Ryder/vintage Sitch and less Ronnie/Sammi BS.

I read someone on another board who said Deena looks like a burn victim and I laughed really hard. And then I cried of guilt.

I feel like the Vinny bashing is a bit out of control. I'd blame a lot of his emoness on jetlag. Also, he's a young guy, and when JS started, he seemed like the most normal of them all, down to earth, family-oriented guy. Quickly his whole life changed into something totally different. Obviously it's great to make a lot of money and bang hot chicks, but for someone like him, I can see it feeling a bit too shallow at times, when he's feeling down. Typical really, when you feel bad about something, you dwell in it, and start to see the negatives in everything.

Vinnie **** was pretty painful to watch, he obviously wants off the show (for whatever reason, be it $ disputes or whatever) and they needed to find a way to write him off the show...

The Unit was painfully bad to watch IMO.

Unit's valuable because it gives you insight into the type of people Mike surrounds himself with IRL - also while kind of giving you the "wtf, that guy has friends?" reaction. Basically I can see him only surrounding himself with people that will inflate his ego. Dude's a walking psych patient waiting to happen.

I felt really bad for Mike in season 4. It finally became obvious to him that no one likes him, and since none of them can hook up with girls outside of the Shore, you could see that getting to him as well. There's a shot in one of the last episodes of him lying on the couch in the club, staring apathetically at people dancing that really struck me as to what a loser this guy must feel like. I hope season 5 treats him well, this show really would go nowhere without him.
