Geordie Shore is definitely better. It's everything Jersey Shore except uncensored, better looking, and they speak in a ridiculously awesome way.

and some of the female cast are actually funny and crazy in an interestin way.

Kinda sad this show has gotten to this point. I cant even finish watching an entire episode without getting bored and wanting to listen to music instead.

Anyways, I still think the show has more to offer. It definitely keeps me watching every week and they could probably get 1 more season out of the current cast

If someone could provide cliffs of the season that would be cool. I watched the first ep and it was pretty weak. the second ep I watched and surfed 50/50, the third ep i watched and surfed 25/75, and now I don't even bother.

The problem is there are no cliffs. Like, for real.

I stopped watching JS at the start of season 4 when I kind of noticed all the staged bits, but I couldn't stay away I guess. Bored one day with nothing to do I caught up, so now I'm invested enough to want to find out what happens even if it just botheres me.

Some of my thoughs:

Snooki just annoys me, it is seriously difficuilt to fathom how someone can be so self centred and moronic, it's shocking. For example in this episode she gets pissed at Gionni for being drunk and falling asleep. Zomg - she snap forgets how much of a horrible human she is and the things she done to him. Instantly tilted me.

Mike- I feel like all of Mikes material is staged at this stage, but his 'character' is somewhat of a necessary evil at this point.

Sammy and Ronny - I don't understand how they can go from fighting that much to not fighting at all. Makes me think this was also planned by the producers in earlier seasons.

Vinny and Pauly- I still find Pauly amusing, favourite person on the show by far. Vinny is boring now, doesn't add anything and just follows Pauly.

Jwow and Deena - Jwow is pretty much herself, doesn't add much though. Deena is probably the most 'real' of the cast, even though she's quite annoying.

It doesn't really matter anymore, MTV will keep this money machine rolling until the ratings drop and the cast will keep comming back while the money rolls in. There is no commitment to maintain quality, it's all about money. Unfortunately I think the mainstream American audience will keep comming back for Jersey Shore for at least another 2 seasons, while shows like community can't pick up a newtwork. Saddening.

Is it not confirmed that this is the last season? I think the ratings have dropped a good deal this season. interest has here and at another forum I browse. It has really run its course at this point.
