iZombie: Calling all Veronica Mars fans - OOTV -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

i have been waiting for months for this show! i was so excited watching it. i loved it! i am biased though. but i thought it was very fun. the lead is super cute, and i like her sidekick doctor. he fiance is lame. the cop is lame. pretty much everyone in the supporting cast was lame. but the leads are good. and the weather man was in veronica mars. we'll probably see more veronica mars actors on the show.

the show is smart, and fun like veronica mars. but so far it's not poignant like veronica mars was.

Never watched VM, HATE zombies and almost everything zombie related. But I really want to watch this. Not sure why. I also think I'll really like it.

how did you never watch VM? i mean i obv don't know you personally but iirc you were a Chuck fan. VM is an all-time classic in that genre. Would highly recommend.

Strictly by accident. It snuck past me when it aired and I kept forgetting to check it out. I've been in love with Kristen Bell for far too long not to have seen it. It is high on my list though.

meh at least he doesn't have to wait for years now for the movie. the movie is fantastic and a great close that the series never got (although apparently thomas/bell want to make another movie)

I saw the first 15 minutes of it and actually liked it quite a bit. I missed the rest of the show though.

I never saw VM because I never had time to watch from the beginning.

For those that haven't seen VM, you should. It's pretty great.

Also agree that the lead and sidekick are good. I hate the cop too, hopefully he doesn't have as much screen time in most episodes.

I liked this quite a bit - I mostly liked Veronica Mars but the 3rd season wasn't great so maybe 3 and out was best for the show's legacy.

I didn't really have a problem with any of the supporting characters. It's only the pilot so we get a ton of exposition and the characters haven't been fleshed out. I wouldn't be stressing secondary and tertiary characters too much yet. I thought the cop was ok as well (again, it's only the pilot) and he's definitely going to have as much screen time in future episodes - the cop and the other medical examiner round out the show's scooby gang so I would expect them to be featured prominently.

i never read the comic. it seems to me that bad guy character could be great. it's frustrating though because that actor is kinda lame. i wish *i* could have been cast! i would have nailed that part, crazy brain eating, sinister, funny zombie.

he reminds me of spike from buffy the vampire slayer

Yeah, the cop bothers me a bit. He did when he was in Breakout Kings too. Just seems way too confident for no reason at all.

hopefully the cop will have a minor role like in this last episode. the lead rose mcgiver is great though.

i was probably too rough on the actor playing the bad guy. he is ok i guess. it's just frustrating because that character would be so great if the actor was great.
