Yeah, assuming that he has a medical issue is kind of a hot take, especially given that he's answering a solid handful of questions every game that the other two don't know. Could be a hundred other factors, including how many hours a day he's willing to spend boning up on trivia.

If I had $4.x million from playing J! I think I’d be likely to lose some interest in keeping in top J! form in favor of other pursuits. Both Ken and James seem more interested in staying competitive.

Just basing from last night's interview, it sounds like a bulk of Brad's essence is with Jeopardy. Comparatively, Ken is a computer scientist (I think?), and James undoubtedly works on things much bigger than trivia games.

Ken hasnt done computers since before his run.

He writes and does a podcast. And thusly has a crazy amount of free time

Brad said something interesting on today's episode: he wishes he would have practiced more on the buzzer.

So his problem might be less of a recall problem, and more of a reaction time problem.

With three goats on the same stage, the difference in reaction time likely is what separates the contestants more than anything else.

Going into this, I thought James was a big favorite due to age (reflexes and recall ability) as well as his strategic play and then after he won people would say "Would James have beat Ken in his prime?" Well if Ken does win he truely will be the GOAT at Jeopardy.

I haven't seen too much Jeopardy but after watching these it kind of ruins it once you realize how important buzzer control is. Maybe they should change the name of the show to "Buzz in fast! (with trivia)"
