Lisa (scarf woman) was a disaster. Not so much the way she played the game but more because of her personality and mannerisms. The way she laughed maniacally when she found the DD was magical.

Remembered what the other weird Alex pronunciation was after watching yesterday's episode, because he did it again last night (using a long i for short-lived, the other one was another hyphenated word). Also hate the current champ, hope she loses soon.

Heck of a game Monday. Good DD bets, tie game going into FJ. Not sure about lady's wagering strategy there, losing if both get it right. FJ answer came to me without active effort, would have been able but tricky to puzzle it out?

I thought final was easy, surprised only one got it.

$15k was a nonsensical bet. I think with third place >50%, it's a mandatory shove. Otherwise you could make a case for betting small if you're not confident in the category, but betting big but not everything makes no sense.

I told my girlfriend that they both need to wager it all, but that I bet the woman won't. Too bad they couldn't both get it right.

I'm a rules nit.
I hate when someone gets like 3 tries after times up.

Said "While my guitar gently slee...sleeps, slee... WEAPS!"
Then DD very next clue, and runs it up

Reese Witherspoon. STAHP

Tricky to deduce in thirty seconds, if I didn't know the answer I think I'd try and come up with an American Oscar winning actress who was born around the time of The Godfather. I'd expect to deduce it given thirty minutes to think.

I didn't know Sophia was in the scene, but obviously it made sense that she would be and I knew she had an Oscar, so she immediately came to mind. Couldn't think of anyone else who made sense, so I was very confident. I'd say that was puzzling it out based on her father directing the movie, her having an Oscar and the age seeming to work.

The current champ seems to close his eyes a lot when he speaks.

Every time he picks a category. It drives me nuts.

That game drove me nuts. Shannon had great potential as board favorite, but a disaster in reality. Underbets DD then massively overbets FJ from 3rd. And says Um every time she picked a clue.

And where did the other lady buy her hair? What was with that?

The great barrier reef daily double clue was ridiculous. There was no other possible answer. You could guess it at age 8.

A pretty well played game on Wednesday. Overall a much better week so far. (Still some LOLW).

Sick. Definitely an early reference to the mandela effect. Was always Berenstein of course.

Champs down $8800 with 1 clue left and bets $5 on last DD?
What a *****... bad category or not, I feel like you have a better shot on a $1,200 clue than knowing the Final and him missing or both missing and him screwing up

Not bad. He was in a spot where there were two options, $5 (he needed to bet less than $100 to avoid a lock if leader got last $2k clue remaining) or shove (perhaps leaving $100 behind). At least he chose one of them. He was thinking strategically. Most people would have said some awful number between those two figures like $2k or $3k. And it did seem like a poor category for him, and was a DD he had no clue on, so can't blame him for taking the weak option of the two. Of course, you never know when a DD is going to be easy. For the bottom row clue in Woody category, I told my girlfriend that if this was the DD I would bet $5 because I can't think of a single Woody that hasn't been said. Of course, then I did know Woody Paige and would have been able to get ESPN from Around the Horn even if I didn't.

If he is unsure, say 40% on the category but still goes for it, then 60% to win in FJ with a close lead thats ~24%.

If he goes small he is 100% to play FJ with a ~25% to win from a distant 2nd (can only win if he gets it right and first is wrong).

Pretty much a wash. As stated, at least he didnt say 2,000. I don't love it, but don't hate it either. Def understand the pyschology of wanted a shot in FJ.

Clearly if you like the category you should go for it. Hopefully the $5 wasn't out of fear. My read was that he HATED the category.

Yeah, so many people make nonsensical wagers, so I appreciate it when the guy obviously showed an understanding of strategy and chose one of the two valid options. Was rooting for him in FJ. Unfortunately, clue way too easy.

Leader tonight had 12,300 going into FJ vs. 10,400 and 9,300. Bets 6K. Got away with it as he was the only correct, but still a real wtf wager from any angle.

Hated the guy as soon as he bet like 1/12th of his stack on first DD, which turned out easy.

It bugs me when the contestants say the name of the category when there is just one category remaining. Am I alone?

It has merit in reminding the viewer of the cat before each clue.
