absolutely shocked to hear ppl complaining about the premiere being slow or boring. pretty sure the same was said of season 4 which was an A+ season (if we exclude the finale) and probably included the GOAT Homeland scene (that didn't feature Quinn).

Did anyone watch Agent 47? it got terrible reviews on RT and metacritic. I liked the original with Raylan but haven't seen this one yet.

I liked it. Slow but intense. Just like most pleasurable things in life. I'm in for the ride guys,i think things are going to pick up very soon. I love Quinn, it's like he has no soul anymore, he is so ****ed up in the inside, knows it but he is committed and can't go back.

Carrie is that girl you used to date who says "oh I'm fine nowadays" when you know she is 1 inch away from committing sudoku.

Didn't the show jump forward like 2.5 years? When we left off S4, Quinn was going to that merc mission, and when he was in that briefing bunker in 501 he said he 'spent the last 28 months there before flying back for this meeting' or something. Between airing s4 finale and filming s5 was probably less than 8 months, definitely need a new child unless you're levelling and I'm dumb.

Yeah, obvious jump in time is obvious.

I liked the premier. Could watch a show with just Quin, Saul and Dar playing the game, but I guess Carrie adds an interesting dynamic.

can someone explain the scene with Quinn in the car at the end. Watched on a stream and I don't know if it was too dark or what but don't really know what was happening. Was he decoding who his next target is or something?

was 100% sure that it was going to be carrie. expected a picture though.

killing the isis woman was great. QUINN. it sounded like she said "peter" before getting merked so I assume she knew him but I cant remember if we were supposed to know that already.

I think it not being a picture is telling. When Quinn last met with Saul he told him "you make the call. Put the pictures in the box and Ill take care of them." And I don't think for a second that Saul makes a decision to take out Carrie. That tells me that someone else placed it there. And maybe the reason it was a coded message is because whoever is behind it did not want the delivery man to know who it was.

there is absolutely no way saul would ask quinn to kill carrie. *if* he decided to kill carrie, he wouldn't ask quinn to do it.

i was surprised at how subtle it was the carrie was the target. i saw it, but i thought for sure they would have a clear shot of her name as the target. i think it said "matheso" and then quinn stopped coding it out.

very good episode.

Was it Saul who was in the post office just before Quinn? That implies that Saul is the one who put in the info about Carrie being his next target. Doesn't make much sense to me.
