Agreed, Hank in the trailer A+

Was the opening scene written and directed by the folks that do Days Of Our Lives?

As Halloween episodes go, I thought this was among the better ones I've seen lately. I loved the production design in the episode.

I really enjoy this show, even though there's not that much to discuss about it, kind of like Burn Notice.

I agree. I really enjoyed the episode, they've done a great job of pacing this season.

Ratings have gone up a lot in live viewing in the last two weeks. I wish NBC would hurry up and renew it.

Any thoughts on this week's episode? I figured it was going to be the intern guy who was the secondary Grimm, but thought everything was pretty well done in the show. The Renard/Juliette story is really creepy. I could have sworn we would see Nick sitting in his car across the street watching that scene at the end. Oh well. I think they need to get on with resolving that storyline, though, and I'm imagining a two episode mid-season finale storyline is how they're planning on doing it. There are only 2 episodes left for awhile.

Anyone else wondering when they're going to bring Rosalee back?

This show is pretty dang good right now, another solid episode. For me Rosalee is more out of sight, out of mind; she is great when she is on screen but the show doesn't suffer when she isn't on. I was kind of hoping the branding was going to be a little bit bigger arc since Monroe and Bud sht their pants when they say the symbol.

I figured it was the intern when they brought in the guy with the van, the camera had a long shot on him looking at the perp. Yay, me.

I also don't mind Julliete still not remembering because now it looks to be a bigger problem for the Chief and not just Nick/Juliette relationship problems.

just caught up on the last 3 episodes, really liked them all. The halloween one was great, and the latest with the fake grimm had a good story too. Half dissapointed that it wasn't an actual grimm and that the story didnt go on for a few more episodes, but still a good idea.

Do we know why Nick can't see the captain as a vessel ? I dont remember if this was covered already or not. Easy explaination would be that they are only visible when either they want to be seen or in intense situations that make them lose control, but i dont remember.

I miss Rosalee, I think her & Monroe had a really good connection. I hope she will be back. Monroe is still very good in his role.

The special effects of the face changes & even the make up of the different new monsters we saw were really impressive too.

Bree Turner (Rosalee) recently gave birth. She is already back working on the new episodes.

FYP

I've hated the entire amnesia thing right from the start, and the adultery angle adds nothing to it IMO. Just end the arc and move on to something interesting.

My theory is just that the captain is a cool customer and takes special care not to lose it when Nick is around.

I think there's a good chance, if Renard somehow does reveal himself to Nick accidentally, that it will be in regards to Juliette. If that's the case, then I'll give a pass to the entire storyline. It would be so much better off if they had just killed her, because she literally is the worst character on the show.

These writers have done an excellent job thinking out the long game of this show, so I have no reason to not trust the direction they're taking that storyline.

I love Juliette. She's awesome. I really like the storyline, because anything with the captain in it really stands out, and it gets to develop both characters and their interactions with Nick at the same time.

I agree that the the writers are doing well thinking ahead, which is why I'm looking forward to the resolution. It would have been easy to take the cheap way out, but they've actually turned it into a complex situation. (And managed to get Miss Shade back in the mix, which I can't complain about!)

When he was drugged he showed it. He's a half-hexenbeast. They've explained a little of his background. One of his parents is 'royalty', and the other was a commoner or a hexenbeast, I'm not sure which. Easily the most intriguing character in the show.

Edit: Also, some of my friends are going to be in an episode they were filming last week. Something to do with a bank, and they are just extras walking around. Still pretty cool to see some of their pictures. One of them got to meet Monroe.

I'd think a grimm should just be a bad ass and get something hotter then juliette. Juliette has the weirdest face. I don't know if she's had lots of plastic surgery or that's just how she looks. Maybe she's 65 w/tons of plastic surgery who knows.

She has a large head, forehead is big, upper lip is larger than her lower lip, and has a really small chin. I'm sure she's much better looking real life, but she doesn't come across well at all in hi def. She has a unique look, but I just find her character boring, especially in comparison to the rest of the characters who I uniformly find interesting (even with Giuntoli's limited acting range).

Her head is kind of sized or proportioned the way aliens heads are in the green man depictions...lol.

I feel the same much like I dislike margaret in boardwalk, rita in dexter, skylar in bb. Mostly because the wife/gf is involved in a sidestory that is nowhere near as interesting as the main plot.
