Of course they'd enter the killers lair without backup despite what happened 10 years ago, but other than that, a good episode I would say. No Fish scenes a good Gotham episode make.

I knew Oswalt would come to his aid, but didn't think it'd be this soon. Thought there'd be some jailtime and courtcase episodes - but yea they certainly love the penguin cliffhangers.

I liked the criminal/informant relationship, but now that Penguin has all but called Jim a full blown ally, I'm wondering what's going on here - certainly Penguin's using Jim for his endgame?

Although wait - doesn't Cobblepot become a public politic figure and all around wealthy citizen as his...sort of...alterego? Maybe that's what he's going for?

I wouldn't rate it out of 10 - that tells you nothing.

I would rate it comparatively.

Compared to the first season of arrow - much better so far.
Compared to the first few episodes of the flash - much better.
Compared to the first half of season 1 agents of shield - much much better

If you haven't seen any of those then why are you in this thread?

Ive watched first season Arrow and thought it wasnt that great. But mainly because i think the main characater is bad at his job

If someone asked me to recommend a really good show I wouldn't recommend this one.

If someone has seen every other good show out there and is just looking to start a new a show I would recommend this one after recommending like 5 other shows.

I'm a sucker for these shows but I will say I liked Arrow s1 more. Still enjoying Gotham more than Agents of Shields s1. Fox is a mess so this show will have plenty of time to keep improving which I'm happy about.

Penguin has the spirit of the GOAT. The show is worth it just for him.

I figure his plan is by becoming a public face the Falcone family can't take him out. Next up he will tell Falcone about Fish, indirectly, and set public opinion against the establishment who work hand in glove with the mob. He is setting all the sides against each other and he will take over whatever is left of 'the coming bloody war' he is engineering.

Season finale mayor Penguin by day, mob boss by night.

I rate it as in start watching it asap.

Last episode was good. Not quite as good as the other ones but they did set the bar pretty high so definitely not dissapointed or anything. Looking forward to next episodes

i like it more than arrow, im kinda surprised that so many on 2p2 LOOOOVE arrow...

To many its only slightly better than stuff like SMallville, with a lot of eye candy and pretty meh storylines.

gotham probably like solid 7

Lol, if Gotham didnt have Penguin, and probably if it just had a different actor as Penguin, it would be a solid 2/10.

Even Donal Logue who I have loved since Grounded for Life is putting in a pretty average performance as a pretty basic cookie cutter character, I mean who didnt see it coming that Bullock was once exactly like Gordon but took a turn due to something happening on a case?

I was grading on stuff I watch at one time or another. 2/10 is on the level of like Defiance which I still watched up to a few eps into the completely garbage second season (and the first wasnt great).

On all TV even a 2/10 show is still solidly in the top half of everything being broadcast.
