I don't know how we're categorizing Louie around here, but you have to watch Louie.

I still can't believe that more people haven't watched The Handmaid's Tale. I have yet to see a better show that's been basically completely ignored by this forum.

Recently finished it to with gf after seeing it on this forum.
Agree with everything that I have read, amazing series. Elizabeth moss is outstanding on the show. Very highly recommended

As for comedy series, my fav of all time is The Office (us), but don't bother with S8 and 9.

After watching more Atypical, I'd say I went a little overboard on my earlier enthusiasm. I do think it's pretty good and worth trying. Jennifer Jason Leigh is really good as the mom, and she's rarely in anything any more.

Binged the cancelled show The ***** in Apt. 23 and really loved it. Very funny stuff. Why Krysten Ritter isn't a huge movie star I don't know.

Didn't like the start of the season at all, but it got better and the finale was perfection!!!
I was pumped for Wet Hot American Summer after loving the movie but quit it halfway through the first episode, guess I should give it another try

I stumbled across that show a while back while channel surfing and then never saw it again. I thought it looked great, I wonder why it got cancelled so fast

I really enjoyed season 1 of Mr. Robot but am having a hard time staying interested in season 2, anyone else feel this way or should I stick it out?

Also, is anyone watching The Sinner? I'm about to bail, I just want to fast forward and hear the punch line and skip all the mystery in between.

Theres just so much great content out there, I cant keep up. I'm 2 seasons behind on GOT.

I enjoyed this, possibly not quite as much as you but definitely solid.

Yeah I know this thread is for TV shows but this dude better have been talking about the short lived mid-90s live action TV show and not the Verhoven classic, which has aged almost as well as Starship Troopers.

Arrested Development. Get over your animation phobia and watch Rick and Morty too.

Yikes really? I liked the show a lot- I watched it all in one sitting- but I thought the Mom was by far the worst part about the show. I mean, I think her plot arc is a very real (albeit one I can't really relate to) one, but I thought a lot of the time she was wayyy over the top. Def a show worth watching though.

I think she's good when she's worried about the kid and smothering him. The subplot where she's cheating is a mistake by the creators imo.

Finished Atypical and I'll echo what others have said. I actually didn't find it having too many laugh out loud moments but more charming in that I liked every character (except for the horny friend trope guy) and it had some moments of genuine emotion which is more than I can say for a lot of these comedy family shows.

Finished Ozark.

I complained ITT before about the eps 2-3 not living up to the pilot promises and I didn't really change my mind: what came next wasn't as good, but I actually ended up enjoying the ride. I'll probably give season 2 a shot.

EDIT- Also, have yet to start watching Preacher season 2. Was it good ? How does it compare with season 1 ?

I liked Season 1 a fair bit but Season 2 kind of lost me. It's still stylish and funny and well made but the road trip just isn't doing it for me, I think I just lost interest around ep 4 or 5.

**** seth rogen and co, preacher is looking good but unwatchable in my experience.
Those guys have no business managing movies/tv shows or at the very least they need a much better work ethic.
