Caught up on leftovers. I gotta say season 2 didn't meet my expectations but they were set astronomically high, it was still excellent. Excited for s3

so boring! so awful! so stupid! so fake!

i'll probably watch another episode

the movie "edge of 17" is pretty good. hailey steinfeld is great, and woody harrelson is great.

My DVR seems to be gaining sentience and making it's own decisions lately. Luckily it decided this garbage needed to go a couple weeks ago and skipping 1 ep was the tiny nudge I needed to quit this boring, steaming pile. Towards the end of Letterman's last show he said "Hey Paul, I don't think we're gonna get the tonight show" which leads me to this: At this point I don't think The Walking Dead is going to get good.

Also, praise the DVR, all hail the new flesh.

I looked through IMDB several times but I don't think he's listed (or I'm blind as a bat). I've seen him on some show (for some reason I'm thinking Friends) but I can't figure it out.

Angie Tribeca Season 3 premieres tonight on TBS. This show is Police Squad except replace Leslie Nielsen with Rashida Jones, a very attractive actress. I guarantee you will laugh.

lol watched all of 13 reasons why, and it was simply awful. The plot made very little sense and it had about 6-8 eps of material stretched to 13. It was kind of fun to make jokes about and rant at though.

super spoilers:
Spoiler:
the fact that that entire group of friends all knew Bryce "probably" was a 1-2x rapist, but he didn't know they knew, and they never told anyone, and continually equivocated double rape with, say, writing a list or stealing someone's anonymous notes... "WE ALL GO DOWN IF WE DONT STICK TOGETHER AND COVER UP BRYCE'S RAPES WITHOUT TELLING HIM WE ARE DOING SO." also the continual warning Clay of "just wait til you get to your tape" was absolutely pointless since he was immediately absolved by his tape. But yeah Tony you're right, he killed her.

Thanks for the spoilers JDalla. Now I feel like I know what happens in the show and saved myself the painful hours of watching it.

Is new prison break worth watching or should I let it stay buried?

It's worth it imo, if you can sift through the non realistic fight scenes

Does anyone else watch the MTV show stranded with a million dollars? I've never been more tilted by someone's idiocy on a game show as I have been watching this

Spoiler:
This dude seriously is just burning money. Like, literally burned money.
As in built a fire and put money in it. And it went up in smoke.

this show is better than Survivor imo. Read about it in the OOT thread and binge watched all 8 episodes in the last few hours. Amazing stuff. Should probably have its own thread, as I would guess that survivor fans would love it too

Yes, its a fascinating peak into human nature. To me, its an example of why there will always be wars since there are always a bunch of dumbasses who can't be reasoned with

I've never seen survivor...is there as many characters as there are in this show? Worth watching a couple seasons of it?

I made a thread for this btw...

I'm currently watching Speechless, I think it was an ABC show. It's about a family with a kid with cerebal palsy. I'm about 5 episodes in and I've been laughing most of the time. I'm simple, though.

I really liked 13 Reasons. Middle dragged and 10 episodes would have been better than 13, and there were some dumb parts, but overall I was a fan. Great performance by the two leads. It'll end up on a ton of critics' "Best New Shows" lists at the end of the year.

I watched the first episode of Underground about the Underground Railway. I quite enjoyed it and am planning on watching more episodes. Mr Rexx didn't enjoy it as much, hating on the music and saying it didn't fit with the time period. Will report back when I have seen more.

I also watched Thirteen about a 26 year old woman who escapes after being imprisoned for 13 years. It was quite watchable if you like that sort of subject matter, although a few things seemed a little implausible/added on to the plot for no reason but it was still quite good. It is a 5 part miniseries and I would probably give it a 7. The acting was pretty decent.
