Watched Hand Of God S2 - I thought S1 was better but I grew to really dislike Judge Harris and was only rooting for KD at the end.

i actually would rate iron fist above luke cage and maybe even or above JJ.

i didnt even finish cage because i was bored with it.

Anyone watching S2 of Teachers? I generally quite enjoy it, but turned off about 2min in to the last episode. I really can't stand musical episodes, bleh...

I have watched all of Teachers, its an ok show. It was super painful to watch the finale that was a musical. I FF a bunch and finally just deleted it. lol

its incredibly ambitious to try to make a musical episode out of a show that isn't a musical. it can fail spectacularly.

buffy the vampire slayer did it out of the blue in season 6, and it's one of the best episodes of television ever.

Done 2 eps of Big Little Lies and I'm 50/50 on whether it's worth carrying on. The OH thinks it's a bit "chick lit" so far. Should we stick at it?

nah. plenty of other great shows to watch. i really like it myself, but it doesn't get any better. i think they've shown 6 episodes now? they are all like the first couple.

it's based on a book by a woman who writes nothing but chick lit. i like the show, so i checked out the book(her highest rated), and i couldn't get through the first chapter.

the book is based in australia

saw s1 of this austrailian show Glitch (6 eps), it was pretty good, nice change of pace. all new faces, director etc. its on netflix. netflix is also producing s2 which is coming out soon

Yar, enjoyed it too. Looking frwd to season 2. Hope they move the story a little bit further along and keep a fast pace. Don't want another Lost.

IDK, it might be but it is not they way I wanted it to go. It's darker(which I don't really mind) but I just dislike/hate 3 character stories, and don't like a couple other things.

Glitch is definitely worth a watch.

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before but anyone liking quirky UK comedies should watch Grandma's House. It is loosely based on the life of the lead, comedian Simon Amstell. It is very good albeit a little cringey and disappointingly Amstell stopped making it after the second season.

Into the Badlands is the best fighting tv series I have seen. The level of choreography that goes in to that show is remarkable.
