Euron's present: is this where they bring in the horn the book mentions, that can 'convert' a dragon? That seems more likely than bringing her a dragon's head or whatever.

yeah I mentioned that above. feels really rushed to introduce at this point though. in the books that happened at the Kingsmoot, so well before all this. he needs to go *find* Dragonbinder and then bring it back?

It's probably in that grassy field where Jorah found Dany's ring he should look there first

How many episodes until Bran lets Jon know about his parents?

Yeah I'm curious how they'll deal with this subplot. Not sure if he's gonna blurt it out or three eyed raven the knowledge into him, or maybe he doesn't mention it at all? He and Meera should be in Winterfell next ep if that's where he's heading. I'm also curious if he becomes Lord of Winterfell since he's Ned's oldest son, pushing Sansa aside and making her start listening to Littlefinger's whispers.

As it turned out they got the best of both worlds. Sansa's threat being the stick and Jon accepting their oath of fealty the carrot. By explicitly stating his reasons, that seemed like it would create a stronger bond. So I first thought the whole thing was staged between Sansa and Jon, but the scene after that showed it wasn't. So Sansa is just weird. This is one of the things I would really like to read about in the books.

Seems like we will get contact between Jon and Daenerys pretty soon. So I guess either directly before that or Bran arrives at Winterfell just after Jon has left to meet Dany or some other cliché near miss.

Heh I forgot about the time they almost met at Craster's Keep. It's gonna be infuriating if they miss each other again, but if it happens you probably just nailed it. I can see Jon and Davos literally riding off to Dragonstone (not knowing who's there now) and then the camera pans north and here comes Meera and Bran sledding down the Kingsroad

His exile from Westeros was to avoid a death sentence he received for slave trading. Jail doesn't seem like that crazy a result for him on his return.

Seems like they wouldn't need to keep Jorah in pitch blackness in order to stop the spread of his skin aids.

did jorah touch sam's skin? I don't think he did, but maybe he's there looking for a cure, will infect sam and he will find a cure for both of them?

Having a pack of wolfs to your disposal could be useful. I think Arya will learn to communicate with her wolf like Dany learnt to communicate with Drogon. No white eyes, but she knows where it is and can give some basic commands to it

seems like they are just going to...walk around it?

(in the books, I think magic will be involved to bring it down)

figured euron's gift would be either tyrion or varys

think it probably ends up being varys and he gets got

didn't love his character, he should be a bit more badass and a bit less crazy

My perceptions of Euron are colored by the books, so he seems a bit out of place to me. I actually have a bit of trouble remembering which exact plot lines are in the books and which are in the show.

How do we know it's Jorah in the cell at the citadel?

Of course, it's a guy with greyscale, and I guess it's silly to have some random with greyscale to quiz Sam about Dany, but could we see any part of him other than his arm?

He has a pretty distinctive voice.

He isn't in jail though, he is quarantined with other sufferers of greyscale at the citadel. They probably don't even know who he is. My point is although they do need to quarantine those with a communicable deadly disease, they don't need to do it by putting them in tiny windowless rooms that are essentially a jail. They can be quarantined in a large area or building just as effectively. It is needless hardship and makes absolutely no sense. I guess they just wanted Jorah to appear as more of a martyr. Dumb.

You could tell by the voice and you could also see his profile before Sam inexplicably left him in total darkness

I feel like Euron should be way MORE crazy in the show, but that might be colored by the Damphair WoW chapter that was released a while back.

Tyrion is def something she would value highly...maybe Gendry also?
