Arrow is great hopefully this is as well.

Starts tonight (Tuesday, October 7)

Pilot leaked months ago but plan to re watch it before episode 2.

Still have concerns about the suit, but it looks pretty good in that photo above.

Looking forward to the pilot (I did not watch it when it was released earlier).

Yeah, the pilot leaked (I think the studio did it) like 4 months ago and it was pretty good.

I knew it was available, I just didn't want to watch it and have to wait months for the next episode. And with that said, I did just watch it and it was a very solid premier! The person/thing that killed his mother will ultimately end up having some connection with the dad, right?

I thought it was about as good of a Pilot episode can be. I like how they got right to it and brought everyone into the fold with his abilities, even he didn't waste screen time debating about using his abilities.

that's what I was worried about too. With Arrow there's so much Island and past crap they can explore, and work towards important storylines. I feel in Flash the only angle they can work is the 'who killed my mother' story

Great pilot. After what I've seen of Grant Gustin in Arrow and in this pilot my initial impressions is that he is a really good fit as Barry Allen and seems like a good actor. Hopefully the team behind the series do a great job not turning it into Smallville (especially post-Michael Rosenbaum).

Wonder who they are gonna cast as The Flash in the upcoming Justice League movie.

I watched it again, cant recall what I thought before but I thought it was decent but a good step down from Arrow's pilot. It has potential to go both ways I guess. Flash is no Aquaman but there are only so many ways being fast can stop other powers without it just being insanely OP. The guy in theory is just a less terrible Superman as nothing should beat super healing and mega speed.

The background stuff with his parents and the time travel stuff or whatever I expect to really hate. Hopefully my negativity is proven premature though.

I thought this was terrific and a nice change of pace from the much darker Arrow. Way better than it has any right to be.

Really enjoyed the pilot. Not sure if it was purely based on the fact that I watched it right after the Strain finale (and by comparison anything can look amazing). I though the acting was solid, except for maybe the cop's daughter. CGI wasnt that bad considering the platform. All in all somewhat impressed. Will keep watching.

Barry cheated on Felicity and broke her heart. Olly meanwhile had to repeatedly choose between his own happiness and protecting those around him.

Oliver is a genuine hero who survived hell multiple times, Barry is a douche who got lucky getting powers.
