Wow. There are quite a bit more shows I'll be checking out then I expected. I'm waiting for a few more eps of The Mysteries Of Laura before I watch it. But I'll be checking out:

Madame Secretary
The Affair
A to Z
Mulaney
Marry Me

I might give Survivor's Remorse a shot just because it's Starz, but I don't see how I'll like it.

Gotham looks pretty good, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Interested in The Affair and some of the comedies.

Sepinwall and Fienberg gave a very positive review of the Gotham pilot but said it wasn't going to be representative of the series so they were interested in seeing future episodes.

Red Band Society was much better than I thought it would be so I will probably stick with it to see where it goes.

made it all the way through 'Madame Secretary'.
Kinda liked it, but then I'm a huge sucker for anything even remotely 'West Wing'.

That's the single reason I'm willing to check this out. TWW comparisons, even if they're small, makes it worth it. But, I haven't watched ep1 yet. I think I'll wait until after the next one and see what the general thought are.

I was thinking for some reason if I put them in a spoiler it help that but I guess not.

The Pilot was directed by a really good Pilot director, but the show was still pretty flat. I thought it was okay, but I'm much less encouraged about the quality of its future than I am The Mysteries of Laura. Leoni definitely proved she can do the part, and that's probably the hardest sell for the show. It's just going to end up being another dumb conspiracy show, though, and that's, well...bad. So, I'm a little less optimistic about the show, though it could get better I suppose. I'll certainly stick with it until it bugs me too much to continue.

I don't know about a West Wing comparison, but it definitely felt like it was trying for a more low rent version of House of Cards without the silliness (though it still has a certain amount of silliness).

I would watch the hell out of a show when John Mulaney just does stand up for half an hour. The sitcom, I'm not sold.

The reason they put parts of his audience warm up in the trailer is probably because the show sucks. He's funny, I bet the show isn't.

FYI spoiling youtube links doesn't help the page load faster - it still has to load them anyway just because of the way the software works.

The Gotham pilot was really good.

20 minutes in and Scorpion looks average at best.

I actually feel like this could be one of the worst shows I have ever seen. This is brutal.

I don't know why but I'm kind of eager to see what Stalker is like. Gotham has possibilities.

I didn't hate Scorpion but women in dinner part seemed forced. I'm not sure if I wanna continue but I'll give it 1 or 2 more episode then decide.

Scorpion was brutally bad. Madam secretary didn't grab me at at all. Agree with everyone that the Gotham pilot was good.

Really liked Gotham, they got it where agents of shield didn't. However I keep thinking this would be so much better w/batman in every scene.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't like Gotham. Thought it was fairly cheesy and even knowing that it starts off with a kid being orphaned it was overly serious. Even the "dark and gritty" Nolan movies had some humour in them.

I'm also not sure its going to work well with them trying to have all these characters from the comics in every episode if they continue to go down that route. Seems like a lot of balls to juggle and we are gonna end up with a lot of dud storylines.

Despite the small screen time I did like Rawls in the pilot.

Yeah, Scorpion has some very serious problems. But there is potential there. It will never be filled potential, but it is there. There is actually very little to like in the show as it is, but it is almost kind of fun in a very boring and predictable way. The scenarios they have to fix, and aspects of how they fix them aren't bad. But what is in between every little step borders on ******ed. A decent portion of the last 15 minutes had some cool stuff when it was going fast, but every damn time they slow just a little, it's annoying as hell.

I've only seen a few minutes of Gotham but it seems too sun drenched.

I thought Gotham was pretty solid and the potential is obvious, but the main problem I have with it is that all of the classic Batman villains will be old people by the time Batman gets around to being Batman. Like 10-15 years older than Batman. Even the youngest one, Catwoman, looks like she's got 3-5 years on him.

I'm sure I'll be in til the end, though.

Afaik that all seems accurate as far as ages go. It's not a stretch to think Selina Kyle may have been 3 years older than Bruce Wayne. And all the other villains, IMO, have always been older than him by about what you said.
