First episode was last night, about a girl who comes back to the hamptons to get revenge on the family that broke her family up.
Although there was alot of people in it, making it hard to fully understand everything, it was probably the best first episode i have ever seen for a new tv series.

I agree it was a bit tough to follow, but I was definitely intrigued. Really liked it.

I enjoyed it but I can't see much staying power for it. Realistically maybe drawing out 3 seasons, but more then likely being able to wrap it up in 2.

The premiere had a 3.4 in the 18-49 and 10.15 million viewers. This was against premieres of CSI and SVU. I would definitely classify it as being off to a flying start.

I just watched this yesterday, having heard nothing about it prior, and really liked it. It was kind of confusing at first, but really came together and all made sense by the end of the episode. (was also cool thinking back to some lines, like her friend mentioning tech kids bank accounts=sum of bank accounts of everyone there, then we find out hers is almost exactly as large, ballin)

Will definitely be watching this, one of the best looking premiers imo

It's up against two dying franchises without their major stars in CSI/SVU. I can't see how the show won't stay alive ratings wise. I also liked the storyline and the main characters reasons to take down the Hamptons socialites one by one.

I thought it was pretty good. Will definitely keep watching. But it seems like a one or two season show. I mean eventually she gets her revenge and the show is played out. But of course if its successful they will drag it out and add new storylines which of course will both ruin it and kill it.

it won't last if this is going to be a "revenge of the week" thing. as far as network shows go though, should have at least a good season in it

recorded this out of curiosity and just watched. very interesting. feels almost exactly like dexter except instead of killing one person an episode its just eliminating one somehow while people around her suspect something is going on and we learn a bit more about her past with each episode.

not really my cup of tea, but, hot damn, Madeleine Stowe is still smokin' after all these years.

Watched the first 10 minutes and was ready to write it off until reading this thread. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw the whole thing. Not bad at all.

It is loosely based on the Count of Monte Cristo. That's pretty cool.

I liked the plot this week, maybe I'm just a sucker to see hedge funds go busto.

This show's pretty good so far. It can be a little hokey at times (the scene of the hedge fund going under, the typical rich-kids-ganging-up-on-the-townie-kid stuff), and I don't get why Emily isn't trusting the Nolan guy more since he's clearly on her side...but, minor nitpicks in the grand scheme of things!

(and Emily VanCamp is hot!)

Very solid episode, really like this show. They do a good job of mixing in flashbacks aswell.

And I also doesnt understand why she doesnt trust Nolan, he seems to wanna destroy them as much as she does, but I would not be surprised if this is for a reason that we dont know yet She seemed to have planned it all out really good.

Pretty much this. I hadn't seen all of the first episode so I went back and watched it after seeing last night's show. I do wonder how much the intro to the pilot (and the general premise of the show) will limit its longevity but this season at least should be very good.

I think there isn't a lot of trust for Nolan since she doesn't have a lot of history with him (it's mostly on his say-so), he's a social misfit who has a lot of ability to sabotage her (both intentionally and unintentionally) and the depth and sincerity of his motivation may be questionable. This obviously will be an ongoing plot issue.

Really really good show.

DVR'd last night's EP2 and just watched it.

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a network 1 hour drama.

I'll be watching it. Hot rich blonde takes down typical, greedy-rich white people.

I can't imagine this lasting more then 2 seasons. What, someone else is going to screw her over in a different affluent community? :/

I still like this show, but things are pretty easy when you have access to unlimited money and technology resources.
