With the amount of dip, energy drinks and cigarettes these guys smoke to help them stay alert during the long shifts their bodies have to hit a wall sometime. I would imagine painkillers are used quite a bit by crew members

The part that really got to me was when he was talking to Jake or Josh about Phil. Heartbreaking stuff.
