Yeh few funny bits from Elroy and I thought the incest ending was good, aside from that the episode really didn't click with me.

One of the only times I can remember I've watched an episode of Community in lots of stops and starts (and over two days), a tactic usually reserved for something of the caliber of 2 Broke Girls.

Yeah...overall, I'm enjoying this season and glad it came back (and I'll keep watching if there's another), but I can't help but think of how good it could be with Donald Glover and an even half-giving-a-**** Chevy Chase. Not that Frankie and Elroy aren't good, but when you're turning over new characters every season it's hard to flesh them out enough to really be on par with the regulars.

Abed's still funny even though he's back to his one-note mode, but he was soooo much better with Troy. The giant hand episode where they tried to feature him and his aspiness was pretty mediocre, although he has had Troy-less main storylines that were pretty good (the My Dinner with Andre ep comes to mind).

It's better than the fourth season, but I really hope they won't do another one.

This is a good afterpartyish season to go out with.

thought the last two eps were some of the best Community produced.

i feel bad that yahoo didnt get community 2 or 3 years ago, harmon seems super free with them and yahoo seems to enjoy the "ratings" they pull off

I thought the incest episode was great, not an episode with a ton of LOLs, but it built up to some great jokes and overall enjoyed it. I thought last week's paintball sucked though, would put it in my top 10 least favorite community episodes. Maybe I was just having a bad day.

Also can't believe people are rooting for it to get cancelled after this season. Even if you think if there's a large drop in quality, it is still an incredibly original and unique sitcom, which makes it enjoyable regardless. IMO there is not much of a drop in quality at all so maybe I'm crazy

Makes me miss this show

Thought it had an incredible season (series, most likely) finale and the Community Boardgame Infomercial may have topped Portuguese Gremlins for best bit of the season. Can't understand anyone hating on this season - I think overall it was on par with early seasons and miles ahead of the dumpster fire of the non-Harmon season.

Yeah, if that really was it, they couldn't have done any better for a series finale. And 2 F-bombs to boot!!

I really hope yahoo is making Harmon work hard on a new project. Even if the season was good I'm glad they move on cause community storyline is played out.

The season being good would indicate that the storyline isn't played out. The show has evolved into a revolving door of cast members now but that isn't such a bad thing and allows the show to stay fresh. As long as Harmon can crank out the funny I hope yahoo keeps it alive.

If they are back Brie is a virtual lock to be gone, although you never know with these shorter seasons.... I suspect McHale and Pudi will be around forever. Oscar winner Jim Rash and Jacobs could go either way.

Whatever, good finale IMO. The last scene was great.

While it's fun to be all meta & ****, I think they're overdoing it a bit. I know it's kinda the basis of the show, but sometimes I'm watching and I'm like "yeaaah we get it, you're smart and building a show about the show about the show". I think they could tune it down a tiny bit and it would be funnier.

Still very fun obviously, but yeah, sometimes I think it's just too much.

^ Agreed. I love the show, but have mentioned before I don't like it when they get too meta with Abed. This was basically a whole episode of that.

Great finale. Ending rant was fantastic. I think they could've made the S7 variations way funnier but it was still very entertaining.
