Not sure what you're watching but this season has been great thus far. Miles ahead of the second half of last season where the show really struggled post-Glover. And as much as I like Jonathan Banks, Paget is a much better fit with the study group.
I'm not getting a mailed in vibe at all.
I rarely legit LOL while watching sitcoms (just not that type of person) but this episode made me LOL multiple times, and both plots were just very fun to watch. Really don't understand how you can hate this episode but love the other good community stuff. My favorite moment was when the dean was comparing his sexuality to a magic trick.
What are the odds of a Jeff/Milf love story?
A standard - 'she rejects Jeff because he's a douche, but in the end he redeems himself by sacrificing himself for the committee, Britta/Anne gets jealous, then they decide it's best off for everyone if they just remain friends'.
I'm hoping with Harmon supposedly having creative control they won't be forced to go down this route as it's been pretty clear his grasp on human relationships, well, at least portraying them, has been dubious at best.
I thought it was a funny episode, the attempted murder scene was great. I thought they could have done a lot more funny stuff with the convicts than turning it into a 1v1 between that guy and Jeff.
I think they missed an opportunity to do an Oz themed episode, I would have liked to see the convicts single handily turn the school into an intense prison atmosphere, with gangs and such.
First episode this season I thought was really great and up to the old standards, hopefully they keep this going.

Agree with what's been said, it was a good episode but when I saw those criminals on their iPads entering the school I thought this was going to be amazing, but it didn't achieve that.
I didn't get that joke with the cop letting a criminal in and then letting black dude through instantly. Well I think I got it but I thought it was pretty lame if it was that. What was the joke?

It was just that the other guys all had to give their prisoner # and stuff to prove they were from the penitentiary, but then the black guy just gets waved on because it's "obvious".
The only thing I'm not buying is Frankie, I mean, she just showed up, there's no way she'd be as "invested" in Greendale or the friendships as everyone else is.
Another thing that made no sense at all was why would some random 10 year old kid care about a politically incorrect comedian performing? Dark hat hackers tend to be trolls who would love that sort of thing.
Whatever, the whole premise of leaking emails was worth it.
