I don't remember the first mention, but Trump prompted Velasquez this time about being a former supermodel. It seemed to me like she took pride in her former accomplishments moreso than was trying to overpromote herself and continue pimping her good looks. Also, I think the pride was heavily to do with being Latina rather than a supermodel, but that's just my read. I could be completely wrong. Dayana had high praise for Velazquez in the first episode, and I think they have a Latina bonding thing going on. She also had high praise for Lampanelli and seemed put off by whatever flippant remark Aubrey made during that segment. (I don't know if she lacks the perceptiveness to understand Aubrey was just teasing or is simply put off by Aubrey's sometimes immature silliness. Velazquez seems like a pretty serious person.)

Aubrey is just ****ing weird looking. Weird hair, weird face, weird body, weird clothes. Unfortunately she also seems kind of smart - although she's also very insecure as evidenced by her constantly trying to get recognized - so I'm concerned that she'll outlast the 1.5 decent-looking broads on the show (the Miss Universe and the other Latina woman, who is a little ripe but still not bad overall).

Of course, it always comes down to Trump building a narrative around firing the person which best serves his ratings. This week that was George from the start - no way in hell the women were "losing", because then Trump would have to scramble to find a scapegoat to fire in place of the hot chick PM. He'll keep her around deep as token eye candy, which shouldn't be all that hard now that she got a PM turn out of the way.

Not just eye candy but doesn't Trump own the pageant that she won? She'll have to do a lot to get fired early on. Trump will keep his prize winner around for a while.

Michael was really weak anyway, or at least they never showed him actually doing anything. But lol @ keeping Lou Ferrigno over Adam.

Buick execs probably wanted a very strong Andretti endorsement, and since they didn't get it, they decided the men's team should lose.

Trump fired Adam AND another man because he felt like Adam was challenging his "alphaness" by taking the bullet voluntarily and not playing along with Trump's games.

Listening to Adam's podcast, it's pretty clear that Adam never had any desire or intention to win. He had obligations with his book, stand-up tour, and family back in LA so he was never in it for the long haul.

Trumps decision was most likely because he wants to discourage others from following Adam's lead.

If the men had done a worse job they would've won. This show sucks.

Lou has a lot to offer, sometimes he wants to dress up as The Hulk and other times he wants to dress up as The Hulk. Clearly he's not being used correctly as I have not seen The Hulk. No idea why he's still there.

I'm fine with ignoring merit and just firing people based on their entertainment value to the show like Trump basically does but getting rid of Carolla sucks on both accounts.
