If it wasn't for a recently acquired DVR I wouldn't even give this a chance. Anyone who takes this show seriously is a huge sucker.

Two hour episodes PACKED with commercials is insane for anyone watching it live.

The cast does seem entertaining: Penn Jillette and Arsenio!!!

Actually all the men's team looks entertaining.

Cheryl Tiegs looks old.

Lisa Lampanelli and Victoria Gotti could probably save it.

Teresa Guidice: "I feel like I'm gonna win celebrity apprentice this season because I have two cook books on the NY times best sellers. I'm coming out with a drink Fabellini". pretty easy sacking imo.

The only one on the woman team I'm familiar with is Lampenelli. OTOH, Paul Teutul is the only man I DON'T know of, so yea that's bizarre. Anyway, "celebrity" is an extremely loose term on the female team from my view.

This show was hilarious last year, should be good.

Well that explains it. I'm shocked someone not from the US wouldn't be familiar with non-major US celebrities.

to be youngish, living in the first world, a presumably avid internet user, and yet not know who penn and teller are - that seems somewhat strange. whatever though.

I think this season could turn out alright, the guys line-up is pretty good for a mixture of personalities. I'll definitely check this season on.

Add in Michael Andretti- a niche sports star that gets no attention outside of the US (although he definitely should know his father), Penn Jillette (somewhat understandable if he doesn't know who he is), and Adam Carolla (no idea how he hasn't heard of him either).

i think he is australian right, didn't someone say that? hence my use of 'first world'. penn is BY FAR the most famous of that whole lineup to a global audience.

Gotti seems like a tough woman. She'd probably smoke everyone in the boardroom maybe except Dee and Lampanelli. Otoh, the housewive, Aubrey O'Day, Clay, Micheal Andretti, and Paul Teutul are probably the weaklings and get sacked first.

Gotti seems like someone who's never worked a day in her life. I dunno if you ever saw her reality show with her tool sons, but she was totally worthless.

Andretti will be one of the favorites. He's an incredibly hard worker, he has connections to a ton of money and celebrities. He's hot-headed enough to hold his own in the board room as well. My only concern is he would be more concerned with stuff going on outside the game and not put a full effort into it. I have him really close with Penn, although I don't know if anyone on there is a buddy of Trump's, which will sway things.

Lampenelli has a chance to do well for the women, but most of the other women are duds.

I'm not even from the English-speaking world and I know who 10/19 of those people are. So yes, I'd say it's pretty strange if an Australian doesn't recognize any of them.
