Something wrong with what I said? BB was done months ago, chances are Under the Dome was too but Dean Norris' involvement means nothing for Hank's future, unless you're specifically suggesting that the reason he was able to do Under the Dome is because Hank dies early in S5b and thereby had a big opening in his schedule.

I may be missing something here or getting levelled or whatever, but it just seems blindingly obvious that Dean Norris being in Under the Dome is completely irrelevant to Hank's fate.

He's probably just talking about the Saul Goodman spin-off. Which was probably always going to be a prequel anyway, because who doesn't want to see more Mike and more Gus? And of course...

Re: Breaking Bad: season 5

The twist when it happens will be intrinsically linked to flies/insects, some way some how, the repetition of the insect charts, the fly episode, the boy with the spider and the lingering shots of flies have definite meaning. Nothing in this show is done without prior consideration. I believe the creator is trying to foretell what happens through these shots.

Vince Gilligan has a hard on for Shakespeare like storytelling.

Hadn't watched this show before 3 weeks ago powered through all of them. By far the greatest show I've ever watched. I think this ends with Jesse killing Walt and Hank and getting out of the business.

The writers’ strike of 2007-08 changed Breaking Bad for the better

They're having BrBa week at AVClub.com. Been 4 articles so far and each have been good. Can't wait for the farewell posts on that site the final week of the show.

Yeah, I went back and watched the end of season 3. This line was bull****. Walt's "ego" didn't ruin the relationship and bring down the Fring operation. Gus basically asked for it when he went to murder Walt. We definitely see Walt's ego all over the place in season 4 and 5, sure, but Mike pinning the blame of the happenings on season 3 is a mistake.

So, this brings the question: Did the writer forget the storyline, or did Mike's character?

PS: "I would never ask you that" was an amazing line.

I think it's completely in-character for Mike to blame the downfall of Gus' empire on Walt's ego, regardless of whether you or I might believe him to be right. Mike's had issues with Walt's ego ever since their bar fight, and probably before.

Re: Breaking Bad: season 5

Why didn't Mike let Jesse grab his go bag for him? It couldn't be that Mike thought he was being followed, since he prev stated how good he is at recognizing a tail and then losing the tail.

Maybe Mike was worried his go bag was being watched?
