The genius of this show is in its ability to play with the characters' morality, sure, but if when taking a step back from all the fun drugs and guns stuff, you don't see Skylar as the victim of the piece (along with Walt Jr.) then there is something seriously ****ing wrong with you.
after a certain point, husbands are worth more dead than alive. whether 50 y/o is that point is clearly a matter of taste, i'll grant.
the only victim in bb in my eyes is wendy. if, at any point, skyler could just let her husband have his secret meth chef life, she'd be livin on easy street.

i adore strong women. damages is like my fav show right now. in fact, the 5th season of damages goes toe-to-toe with the 5th of bb. (of course bb blows it out of the water in the first 4 seasons)
what you say about asset forfeiture is fair, though. walt did/does not have a good plan for shielding his ill-gotten assets.

yes, i def am living vicariously through walt (or tony s, vic mackey, or jax teller and so on). the show is MORE than mere wish fulfillment but it clearly can sustain my power fantasies.
skyler had four corners to choose from and picked the wrong one. she knew her husband was a meth chef. nobody is a drug dealer for any length of time without getting bloody. if she can't handle a bit of blood, then she should've hightailed it.
though, i would have preferred she just not ask walt so many damn questions.
for my part, if i had a shady wife, i would take it easy with the queries
