Showrunner
Showrunner (alternatively, but not commonly, show runner) is a term of art originating in the United States and Canadian television industry referring to the person who is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a television series.. although such persons generally are credited as an executive producer.

I'd say it's semi-official. When someone is made a showrunner it is reported as 'xxx is named showrunner' not 'xxx is named exec. producer' but yeah, they don't get listed as such in credits. The term exec. producer is applied so loosely anyways, it can mean a ridiculous amount of things from 'showrunner' to 'random studio exec. who wants his name in the credits'.
Anyways, just watched the latest episode, I thought it was prolly the best of the season so far. I lolled hard at Skylar's performance in the audit, she seems to keep being dragged deeper, by the end she could become as dark as Walt. In b4 the same happens to Jr.
