great ep though, Aaron Paul continues to kill it. Cranston always amazing as well.
I think u missed the point of why she was acting like that, it wasn't to seduce the IRS man but to paint a picture on why the boss would hire a brain dead withered ditz to do the books and make it believable.

I didn't think he was pocketing money, I thought he was falsifying revenues to make it look like the company was healthy and doing steady business when it wasn't.

He was doing business on the side and not paying taxes on it so he could continue paying employees and living the high life IIRC.

They may do this, but it would be a bad idea. Ted is on IRS radar, so making millions of dollars may raise some flags.

In college I was the assistant editor for some architechural journal, working under some dick professor. He had the same holier than thou, head up his ass attitude as Walt.

I would like to point out Gilligan's phenomenal camera work through out this entire series. It has been one of the strongest and most creative aspects of the show imo. I sometimes have seen (in my head anyway) subtle foreshadowing in his camera work.

In the most recent episode when Jesse is cleaning the warehouse floor while Mike is waving around the black light, there is a point at the end of the scene where there is emphasis (once again, imo) on Jesse's face being half way in the shadow and the other half in the light. Could this be some sort of representation of Jesse having to pick between the dark side and the good side? The real question would be, which is the dark side and which isn't?

Loved Skyler's scene tonight. Think the audit line will play a very important role in pressure being applied from all sides on the White family. Seeing as how she and Walt are essentially amateur criminals compared to Gus and Mike, there is no way that this cannot blow up in both of their faces.

Still think she's ugly though.

Gilliagan's the writer. Michael Slovis is responsible for the look of the show for the most part.

It was the opposite of this. He was cooking the books to make it seem like the company was doing worse than it actually was so he wouldn't have to to pay tax on 100% of the company's revenue.
